Bengt
The rules manuals page 43 introduces the concept of titles, are there currently any models that have them?

Lucas McCabe is the current example of that. Lucas McCabe has two versions: Dismounted Hunter Relic Hunter and a clause on the Dismounted Hunter version that it can't be used when constructing a crew. (Using Titles on McCabe made it simpler to write Luna's abilities, among other things...) Edit: Lucas McCabe's Demise effect and the Model Limits callout is why Titles has the last sentence that it does: Quote During gameplay, though they have the same name, models that have different Titles are treated as separate models and can have different model limits, abilities, and other effects. so that you can replace one with the other without having the replace fail because it would be bouncing over the limit. The rulebook title mechanism is referring to having multiple different versions of the same named model (different abilities, actions, and stats), not cosmetic changes or epithets. They're presented the exact same way as on McCabe cards.

I don't think it's intended, but it could be interesting to have the Ancestors get diversified, as a way of playing around with Yan Lo's crew. Though I fully expect only Masters, possibly some Totems (if the role of the Master changes a lot) and maybe a rare Henchman to get the treatment. Anything else would probably be in the nature of Ferdinand, for who I think was a missed opportunity to show the Titles thing.

More significantly, it's not a last minute change to present like that because the epithets were formatted like that in open beta. And, on top of that, it didn't sink in until now that M2E had Chiaki The Niece, and M3E has "Chiaki, The Beacon". But McCabe is still the only publicly known example where the title mechanics are used for anything. It'll be interesting to see if/when different titles for those models come out.
