Squeal, I´m a Teapot against Projectile Attacks

Question

Hi,

Do defensive triggers like Squeal or I´m a Teapot work also when the model is attacked by an enemy :ranged attack? In the trigger description I couldn´t find anything specific saying that it works with enemy :meleeattacks only.

In case it does work with :rangedattacks as well, do I read it right that Tanuki, after declaring the I´m a Teapot trigger, can be placed anywhere within 6" of the (enemy) attacker, although the attacker might be much further away (like snipers)?

Thanks!

Df (:mask) Squeal: Enemy only. After resolving, this model may move up to 3".
Df (:tome) "I'm A Teapot!": Enemy only. After resolving, this model may take the Interact Action, even if engaged, then place this model anywhere within 6" of the Attacking model.

Yup. Without mention of a :ToS-Melee: clause, it can be used against any attack that's resisted by a Df flip.

That can lead to teleporting Tanuki. But they're magical little buggers, so, you get what you get if you shoot them.

For an example of a Df trigger that cares about what kind of attack it was, here's regret on Zoraida's card.

Quote

Df (:mask) Regret: After resolving, if this Action is a :melee Action and this model suffered damage, immediately end the Attacking model's Activation.
