Yarazi timing of Swift Retreat when engaged

Recommended Posts

So my yarazi are engaged by some abasinia guy.

They try to disengage and one stand gets wiped out.

This triggers swift retreat but do the unit

1) move the move that triggered the disengage

2) move the swift retreat then move the move that triggered the disengage

Thanks

Swift Retreat says:

Quote

Swift Retreat: After resolving an Action that resulted in the destruction of one of this unit’s Fireteams, any remaining Fireteams may move up to their Sp.

The sequence of events has to be:

1.  Pick one of the fireteams in the unit, have it declare its movement.

2.  If that movement provokes disengaging strike, resolve that strike.

3.  If the strike kills the fireteam, resolve swift Retreat.

4.  If there are remaining fireteams that haven't yet resolved their order movement, go to step 1.

5.  The movement effect is now done, are you in formation?

In other words, getting one of the Yarazi killed off by a disengaging strike can be used to get the rest of the unit disengaged without any further disengaging strikes.

Thanks so the one fireteam tried to move and got killed.

The other two trigger swift, move using swift and then also get the move action that triggered the initial attack on the now destroyed fireteam?
