Shielded vs Burning and Poison

Recommended Posts

Hi,

quick question about timing of conditions during the end phase. Both poison and burning deal their damage during the end phase. Shielded is also removed during the end phase, do all the "During the end phase actions resolve simultaneously, or does the owner of the model get to decide in which order the conditions are removed from the model some way?

TL:DR; does Shielded prevent damage from Burning and poison and other "During the end phase" damage sources.

The owner of the model chooses the sequence of simultaneous effects (if they affects only his models). So you can absorb the damage from burning, then from poison and then end the shilded (if something is left).

I assume that the confusion is due to wondering whether "During the End Phase, end this Condition" means that you're supposed to do that as soon as the End Phase starts, or whether you just treat it as any other "During the End Phase, blah blah blah" effect.

You just take that statement at its face value and treat it like any other "During the End Phase" effect.  There's no separate timing step or preferential ordering just because the result is "end this Condition".
