I'm planning on running Hannah as my leader, what other models would people recommend to take? Freman Posted December 20, 2018 Report Share Posted December 20, 2018 Basically any Freikorps that have useful abilities for Hannah to duplicate, like Librarians. I'm not sure about I Pay Better in small games. Cards are too precious to easily discard. I started with Rusty Alyce with From The Aether, as having a free model now and again can be very helpful, and giving her Instinctual as an upgrade allows her to summon every turn for a 7 and a 10. I like trying to plan for stupid combinations assuming I can get the right items/upgrades, but that's a bit hit and miss on it working. ( I really liked the machine gun my Arachnid swarm was able to equip, to attack and damage was a lot of fun!) Obviously if you're taking I pay better you want to have a decent number of Mercs to take advantage of the focus. I personally like models such as Ronin that are a good alrounder (decent ml, sh and mobility as well as utility, although be careful about seppuku). I'm also a fan of models like Bishop (especially once you start being able to add things to him) that 3rd Ap lets him cover a lot of bases. Davos Posted December 20, 2018 Author Report Share Posted December 20, 2018 I've only had one game of the campaign so far, but I've found my crew (Hannah + I Pay Better, Sue, Freikorps Engineer, and 2 Freikropsmann) might be a slightly to optimized for this...(my league is kinda casual...I think I missed up...). The potential 9 card hand makes I Pay Better insane and I basically just roll into a ball of death, with a Freikorpsmann scheming while the ball o' death distracts. Apparently, having 7 severes in hand for turn 3 is good...who would have known? My new goal is to buff up my Gunsdown Freikropsmann into demigood status. Yea, I took it seriously when I built my arsenal (thought the Freikorps package and Sue are really standard for me #Sueisbae) so I'm feeling a little bad about how optimized my crew is. Though, I just found out one of our player's leaders is Archie, who now has +flips to all Melee actions, so I don't feel THAT bad anymore, since Archie on positives (and maybe nonreducible damage) seems utterly terrifying Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
