Aionus temporal flux trigger

NeilH

Question

Hi,

The temporal flux trigger on Aionus bony fingers attack is 'after dealing severe damage to a model in play' so how does that work with timing on announcing triggers? Assuming you have to just set up for a severe/RJ and declare the trigger as normal? Otherwise just announce it(if no other triggers are useful) on the off chance of a lucky flip?

Thanks

You declare the trigger as normal, before you determine the winner of a duel.

If the result of the duel involves dealing severe damage, then you do the trigger. If the result of the duel ends up not dealing severe it never happens. Its just like doing 0 damage means you never get to the after damaging timing point on a trigger.
