4thstringer
When people in my meta play in surround them, they almost always will drop the bluff surround them marker. I want to take advantage of that with my emissary, but I can't decide what kind of model would be the best choice to pop in behind them. Your thoughts? A really fast-moving one which can catch up with the action, unless you’re planning turn one shenanigans. What do we have left for extra long range, otherwise? ...Nino? Nah, even a scheme runner could neutralize him.
Ludvig
Lady Justice! I guess some nimble construct in Hoffman would be all right as well.
4thstringer
Ok some funny ideas. 1. A beckoner luring their impact models towards their corner of the board repeatedly. 2. A monster Hunter to stalk them down from behind. 3. Lone Marshall to use his hit and run shenanigans. 4. Investigator to eat their marker for a card 5. Executioner will have great threat range with the marker to eat. 1
SurreyLee
Bishop wouldn't be awful what with his extra AP and decent (ish) damage output. Langston if playing Hoffman would be hilarious. Monster Hunter stalking from the rear seems decent though. all options are likely to be a decent sized target for the oppo too as you'd not want an opposing model in your backfield. PositronMike
If playing Hoffman I would definitely go for a power-looped nimble Rail Golem. He can easily catch up to the action is quite tanky when looped to Def6 and can get extra AP from locomotion.
DonCheadle
What about Peacy?

I think I'm going to go intentional annoyance. It's going to be a watcher to run the surround them for myself and pick up their markers I think.
