This is awesome and gorgeous. I'm just waiting for the price tag to see if I'm excited or frustrated :D

As to the tiles however I'm not so sure. In terms of aesthetics they are very good but in terms of game play comfort I think I prefer battle mats with marked deployment zones & scoring areas.

The buildings are really nive though so I'll try and pick some up, although I may wait for a storing tutorial (living in a flat makes space a precious thing).

That looks very pretty. Modular tiles looks good for transport. Modular buildings sounds good for transport. (at least in stacking them away). I'm very interested.

Price is the biggest unknown. And to be honest that is probably going to make a difference between a Malifaux boards worth and a TOS boards worth to start with.

Yep, no change for me, this confirms everything I said in my earlier post, truly awesome looking terrain but does promise to be more "I have one super cool table" than a multi-table/option thing.  This of course opens an interesting question of whether this range will have wide future expansion (which is of course hugely predicated on its initial success...), will we see a graveyard, some sort of sewer system (after all we have bases for both), maybe a Gremlin/Bayou concept....

One thing I will say, this could be a really interesting avenue for a larger shop/club, a few of these would supply your gaming areas with amazing tables and I'd be on board if my LGS organised a weekend to assemble and paint such terrain.  Course sadly I'm in Australia so the term 'large LGS community' does not apply :(

Tiles are 12"x12" and can be spun about and put together however you want and connected on the bottom so that they don't slide apart, etc.

Question:  Can you elaborate more on how the boards connect together?

I have one of the Games Workshop original plastic Realm of Battle boards and the connection system they made for that board is one of the worst ideas ever.  It is absurdly hard to clip together and the clips don't stay.  The table is still useable if you ignore their clip system and just get a couple rolls of non-stick cupboard liners instead, but I would prefer a functional clip system.  The clip system that Secret Weapon Miniatures created for their plastic boards seems to work a lot better.

Also, if you are looking for ideas for more buildings then I recommend that you make:  Yan Lo's Barber Shop

And make it an advanced kit with a stupid amount of small details.  I would buy that in a instant.

That would be awesome. Iconic shops would be fun as well. Nicodem's undertaker shop Levi's Salvage shop.

Want!

This line will continue a terrible cycle where I need to work to buy Wyrd products (not to mention food/shelter/etc) but don't want to work so I can play with the Wyrd products I have.

Like a lot of the ideas listed above but a Sewer set and Three Kingdoms set are high on my wish list. Not to mention The Honeypot Casino.
