Angelshard
So I've recently caught myself using the mysterious emissary way too much. If the master is Pandora, colloddi or titania I put him in without even thinking about wether he's actually good in the scenario and list I'm going to be playing. Most of the time he ends up doing fine at worst, but I find I use him way too much. I have a bit of the same with the mysterious effigy. For four stones I almost always find it's worth it. What about the rest of you? Do you have a crutch that just gets thrown into tour lists without a thought?
Ludvig
I more or less always take the brutal effigy if I am playing one of the guild masters who actually attack things. Not so often with Lucius even if it has been known to happen even with him.
Fixxer
Doppelganger... no question. There are times a different 7ss model would be better for the pool/master. Either way, she is like my NB totem enforcer now... I take her because she is really good, I'm not saying she isnt. BUT, she is a crutch of mine. I could be better if I learned to play without her from time to time.
Nikodemus
Condition removal. Model varies, but condition removal is always in. Healing is up there too. It's rare that I leave home without Monk of Low River. Arcane Effigy and Johan are given if I stray to other factions.
Angelshard
@Nikodemus I know the feeling. It took me a while to realise how little I actually used condition removal.
Adran
Arcane reservoir and Imbued energies. Its rare I don't pick at least one of them.
Dogmantra
I always seem to play with a fate deck. I've tried not using one but I just can't seem to manage anything without it. 2
Angelshard
That's because you don't play Pandora. No need for your own deck when your opponent throws his at you turn two. 2
DonCheadle
Ten Thunder Bros for me. Granted, once my pool expands a lil more I might branch out into other models, but they're just that versatile.

emiba
If I play Resurrectionists and don't put a Rotten Belle or two in there my eye start twitching. If I don't play Resurrectionists I wonder why the faction I play with doesn't have Rotten Belles.
Angelshard
@WWHSD true but there's also quite a lot of games where you don't need it. Generally I find that unless I play against neverborn, ressers or hamelin I don't need it. I still take it out fear for what could happen, but often I could have used the points better

If condition removal was a 7+ point commitment the opportunity cost is probably more of a consideration.
(Keenan)
Seconded the doppel. Cheating initiative is just too fun.

It's pretty hard to deploy well against Hans with scout the field and someone with I pay better supporting him. 😀

Chiaki is super amazing, as are Low River Monks. Johan is so good, even with the Merc tax.

Gnomezilla
“It’s a giant stompybot that can copy actions—“ ”Gimme gimme gimme!!!” ”—with a low min damage for its cost—“ “Stomp, slash, pewpewpew!” ”—requires extra AP to return its hiring cost—“ ”WHO’S THE SHORT ONE NOW!” etc. I love my brutal emissary. 1
