An "honest" trial + leave it to luck

Just wanting to verify this before it gets attempted.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't work due to An "honest" trial adding the mask rather than replacing the suit.

Just wanting confirmation encase it comes up locally.

You add a mask to the duel total, the card still has whatever suit it has. I'm not sure I know any way of actually changing the suit of a card.

You declare triggers before determining success.  The added mask works for both.

It is actually added to the duel at the declare triggers step but doesn't say it stops working after that  so you can use it to hit a mask in the Tn for the action.
