Purple Mist
I'd like to see some picture of the full crew so far.
Treehouse
I am finishing models I started to work on simultaneously. Still many more in the pipeline until the crew is finished . @Purple Mist: Here it is. Plus Merris aka Nike. My brain doesn't work righ now - fluff later. Treehouse
Made it before Christmas break.... Old Major Maybe I'll find time to finally read 'Animal Farm' after already having watched the movie as a kid.
Argentbadger
Great skin tone on these pigs. The basing work really ties the crew together - well done!

Treehouse
HAven't abandoned the project, but I've been painting different stuff - jumping between models because I was suffering from a severe case of painting ADHS which made me lose interest in a model once it's half-done. But the Ulix crew is growing. I think if all those models are painted and based, then that's it. The pig on the very right is so shiny because I tried out oil colours on it. It hasn't dried yet. And it's to pinkish.

Treehouse
Thanks! I keep experimenting, but so far I've been pleased with Scale75 Black Leather as a basecoat (with a bit of P3 Midlund Flesh mixed in).
lusciousmccabe
I'll echo everyone else and say your pigskin looks great. It's the smoothness of the blending while retaining the slightly cartoonish level of contrast that does it for me. Your bases also look great. I'd say you had fun handpainting all that fur onto the Sow.
Treehouse
@lusciousmccabe Thank's alot for your feedback! As of late I didn't spend much time painting and that little time I did, few was used on this crew. But I'm also eager to finally finish it. And yes, the Sow was a bit of a challenge. Though, the basic highlights were all done by drybrushing, and then I added the single brushstrokes for the final highlights.
