Divergent Paths: Outcast Edition

So, what are people thinking about? I like going for the woman because I think the tale of an upper class woman striking out on her own (or joining one of the previous established Masters' crews) would be interesting.

NOTE: You'll see me posting similar stuff on other Factions' forums because focus-firing on a certain character will likely get one, so I'll be supporting a faction for each character. Thus, my interest in figuring out what character is being targeted by what factions, so I can join the most interesting one.

I'll focus on the practical joker for outcasts and the inquisitive child for neverborn. I'll mainly go outcasts though.

The lady's design is interesting to me, overall. I'm thinking I'll aim my Outcasts in her direction.

Hum... I think I'll go for the man, somehow I can picture him as an expensive mercenary which would only accept the most dangerous missions which are a match for his skills, sort of Kraven in Spideman.

Besides, I already have a sitting Malifaux child, don't need a standing Malifa...wait, what did you say Hamelin? more cannon fodder? hum...

Then let's hope the kid will get Lost as a characteristic for one week's gift and Hamelin can steal it at any time and you can leave the kid to a different faction.

I don't see how the woman is a practical joker, but she's the one I want. Parker Barrows and Viktorias are on the job!

Totally biased though when i say I'm hoping she gets a shotgun wedding/adoption into the Vikkie clan.

Decided to cast myself in with you lot for the duration of the event. Will give me an excuse to work on my outcasts for a bit and learn them better (considering I own the entire faction sans Barrows)

Outcasts are gettin it bad in the rewards. Getting stolen from, shot in the back or both in the case of the trickster.

I was thinking just that. Von Schill is going to be so mad at the jobbers if the man tricked the Freikorps.

It seems like Schill is the likely candidate, But I feel he would be more of "They died because they weren't prepared and that's their fault" sort of guys. That said if they were still alive he'd brobably tear his shirt off and start beating them with his belt like a drunken father.

I'm backing the Trickster with my Parker crew. Seems she might go Bandit possibly. Neither of the other two really enthuse me for us.

Agreed. I'm still going to make my opponents work for it though...but I'll admit, I want the boy to have a pet rooster...and then see his art changed to Fivel!

That's been my hope since last week's announcement. I'm going to go Mad Dog for a new Sister.

But I need a potential new Belle for my Ressers (even though she starts her un-life with McMourning, I´m sure there are ways to persuade her to become interested in headwear^^

Yep, after reading the PDFs I think I'll go for the Trickster as a future addition to Parker's merry band. She could be as Jodie Foster on "Maverick" but with a bit more of a killing edge.

Trickster could be nice with her double Sister/Bandit Characteristic. I like child, because probably she'll get soulstone manipulation ability, but in ressers/neverborn/gremlins the potential benefits are bigger AND funnier. I'm really disappointed with man outcome- freikorps suit is nice, but not so original, and I prefer him going into 10T for new brilliance/darkened model.

From what I need point of view, I would love to see another tormented / Freikorps model. It would be even better if that model had 6-8 ss cost (too much good 10ss options).

From showed arts, I really like man look. Like casino player

From what I saw in story, child has most potential. Maybe some bribe trick, or give back ss when killed? Two other things are not so great, sword, pistol & armor ......  

EDIT:

But maybe, it can go better, like magic sword, cursed pistol, gremlin upgrade armor?

Well, I went for the trickster in the first game (and won), primarily because blind deployment with the Viks is so much fun!

Just remember that you can only report one game!  (at least that was what I understood).

Tonight I'm taking Leveticus to fight for the Trickster against some gremlins, let's hope I can score one for the team.

You can only play in each encounter once, so you can play for each of the three characters.
