Mutter Posted September 8, 2016 Report Posted September 8, 2016 Awesome! The freehand is absolutely stunning. And funny. The planks could do with some weathering, though - no time left? Quote
Jam_Sandwich Posted September 8, 2016 Author Report Posted September 8, 2016 He's still working on it But as we just used it in the tournament thought I'd post it all You can't see it for the palm trees but I convinced him to make a Mechanical Kraken too...! 1 Quote
Bazlord_Prime Posted October 8, 2016 Report Posted October 8, 2016 That's just superb. And right on time for International Talk Like A Pirate Day last month. How did you treat the water, tho? Was it off-limits, hazardous, or just severe terrain? Cause it makes up a lot of the board's surface. Quote

Cause it makes up a lot of the board's surface. It was treated as severe. He's fine tuned it a bit more by adding more beach/boats etc. In our next tournament I'm offering a prize for best table so hoping to see more creations...! 1 Quote
Bazlord_Prime Posted October 10, 2016 Report Posted October 10, 2016 Oh - and you really must give us a photo of this mechanical Kraken at some point! I've got a couple of that kind of thing lying around from my Dystopian Wars Empire of the Blazing Sun force, but I doubt they'd have even a shade as much personality as whatever your mate's concocted! In the next tournament I'm organising I'm planning of running a prize for best table to take the strain off one guy mainly supplying all the scenery. (and I want folks off here to vote) So hopefully be a few other wild creations (hopefully) 2 Quote
