Loudest Squeel

Dogmantra

Question

So Som'er and Fingers both have Loudest Squeel.

However, I just noticed in a game that they have a slightly different wording. Som'er's Loudest squeel lets you push 'up to 4" in any direction', whereas Fingers's is just 'push 4" in any direction'.

Which one is correct? Are they both correct for the specific model and just happen to have the same name?

This is strange, both of my cards say "up to."

Good question...

Usually, abilities with same name should have the same wording. But without an errata that clarify wich one is the correct one (if there is one wrong) we have to play it exactly as written on the cards.

My feeling is that the intention of game developers would be the push isn't "up to" for both abilities. But it's just my thoughts....

Hm, well I think that probably solves it then actually. I'm working off the big rulebook for Fingers (playing on VASSAL and don't own brewie's box). It's probably a misprint that was corrected, like Francisco not being Rare 1 in the rulebook.

my book for reference:
