I want to make my own Resser Fate Deck

Hello there,

after I figured out, that I can use Wyrd Games IP for personal use. And that I can pay 20€ to get a full plastik self made Fate Deck. I decided I want one.

So I'm a Seamus player, which means he will be the 13 of Crows and his loyals the rest of the crows. I tried to make sense to each position. First things first, the list so far:

I took McMourning as Masks, because he got a Mask Trigger and Molly as Rams because she got a Rams trigger on her. Nicodem was just the "best from the rest" There was only Kirai, Yan Lo, Tara and Reva left. Yan Lo and Tara are more Outcast/Ten Thunders than Ressers imo. Reva is too new and I like Nicodem more than Kirai.

 

As you can see, I tried to put models which worke quite well to the right Master (for example: Rafkin to McMourning, Yin to Seamus and so on)

The Students were put all on number 7 (because 2/3 cost 7SS) and they are all at the suits printed on their card.

Punk Zombies went to Nico because of his box. Well, I think you get the deal.

In the end it was hard to put them to any specific Master. So now I want to know what YOU think. Would you change something? and WHY?

 

I'm not sure yet what I put to the 1 of every suit. Should be something terrible because you never want to see that thing Or just a Corpse Marker or something like that. Don't know yet. Any ideas?

Cool idea.

Personally, I would have the ace in each suit as that Master's Totem. Gives a nice symmetry when the Master is at the top and the totem is at the bottom.

Other than that, I think some of the choices for each Master aren't what I'd normally expect (though that doesn't mean they're in any way "wrong"). Izamu and Jaakuna with Seamus, the Forgotten Marshal and Dead Rider with McMourning, the Flesh Construct with Nicodem and the Gaki with Molly were the main ones that made me go "Huh?"

I'd love to see the finished result!

A friend of mine who does not play malifaux but is good at photoshop will do it.

Well I took Izamu for Seamus because he was suggested by uhm... forgot the name of it. It was a long podcast about him, his playstyle and so on. They also suggested Yin.

That's why Izamu is there.

 

And yes, Jaakuna, Marshal, Dead Rider are the ones I just don't know where to put them... I just know I think that the dead marshal is awesome (model and playstyle) I don't own him yet though.

And Gaki went to Molly because of her Horror/Spirit upgrades. Usually I would've put them to Kirai but she's not there.

And the Flesh Construct went to Nico because uhm... because... REASONS! I actually don't know. Maybe he is better with McMourning? I just thought Flesh construct is maybe often summoned by him because of the self heal.

I looked at the Arcane Fate Deck. The Chihuahua was Nr.1 of Crows and Copycat Killer Nr.2 I thought the Aces could all have something similar to each other and the Nr.2 all got the same Mindless Zombie. I thought those shouldn't be higher than the totems. And most totems cost 3SS

 

I also got an idea for the black joker. Maybe Lady Justice (Undead hating bitch) could fit

I would put the Emissary on the Red Joker since it's the faction avatar.

As a resser, I would put in each card what I can summon with it

Yeah I thought about that, but that would fit better for nicodem. I but Dead Doxies and Rotten Belles to thow where I can summon them with. But that's it for Seamus Summonings

Love it...go with the carrion emissary for the RJ and the effigy for the BJ.....I would go with Nico on the crows myself.....where is the website you can get them made through?

Well I looked at the Carrion Emissary. A bick raven should fit perfectly for the RJ.

But why the effegy as black? It should be something bad.

The website where i found it is from germany. A custom Deck made out of plastic costs around 20€ there. So you just have to google it.

For me the Effigy and Emissary for jokers works as bookends, the faction personified on a small scale and on a large scale. I also think that the Effigy, like the Emissary, should be Master neutral, but still be in a deck.

Still not convinced to put the effegy as the black Joker.

 

I tried to search the web for pictures that could be used. The box artworks are usually not really useable. For example the Necropunks, you can't find them solo. Only the box art and they are overlapping there which could be kinda difficult to put on a card.

Anyone got any ideas? Or a link to a full art gallery?
