Popular Post Corrgon
After painting 2 Illuminated and Hungering Darkness for IP2016, I finished the master from the Dark Debts box - Jacob Lynch. I kept the purple-blue-turquoise color scheme of the rest of the crew box. I hope you like him.
Mortarion
Really nice! The limited colour palette on the two models works very well.
Corrgon
Here is Mr. Tannen. He got a quite a lot of free space on the base so I sculpted a little addition.

Will Tomorrow
Fantastic job on Jacob Lynch. Drawing the focal point upward with the lightening of the palette was an inspired choice. It makes the figure really mesh with the spectral skeleton. You definitely know your way around a color wheel tool, excellent pairings. The whole piece is really evocative, great stuff.

Mortarion
Love that Abuela base! A great way to tell a story and show the character of the model.
Popular Post Corrgon
Hereis my first warden. At firs I wanted to paint some onaments on the cape but at last decided to keep it simple to have a better batman-look
Burnin' Coal
The blending and overall feel on Jacob Lynch is stunning...as is your warden...and I think you made the right decision in leaving the cape clear of detail as it helps frame the metalwork nicely
Popular Post Corrgon
Here goes Sloth with his showel-bass-guittar. Probably my favourite from the Crossroads7 sculpts. It took quite long time to paint him. I also started painting Lust, so she is going to be the next.

ringsnake
Your Mr Tannen is so wrong. So very very wrong.... As some constructive criticism, I don't think your well thing was a success. It's a little too busy, and there isn't enough visual contrast betwen the well, dress, skin, and tentacles. It all just blurs together and doesn't stand out. Like if it'd been given blonde hair (bright and warm) white skin (dark and cool) pink or red tentacles (mid to bright warm) and kept the greyblue of the stones of the well (dark and cool) everything might have stood out more. Thanks for the constructive criticism. You are not the only one who point at the lack of contrast of some of my models. Most times I just choose some colours that might look good at a model, do not have any painting theory background. I can see that the depleted in well is one of the weaker models I painted. As for keepinkg the tentacles in flesh tone with just small purple dots, I wanted it to represent the loss of shape-shifting abilities the Illuminaded had thanks to Brilliance (which I paint brightly coloured with a transition from turquoise through blue, violet to magenta) leaving only malformed tentacled limbs. I'm only repeating a critique that has been leveled at me on multiple occasions. I think that there's a reason many of the best painters in the world rarely, if ever, play the games associated with the models they paint. Not only do they dedicate more time to that side of the hobby, but they make purely artistic decisions on models without letting much of the rules or background material interfere with their decisions. On a personal level, when I paint models I try to make artistic and aesthetic choices that work for the models, but intentionally go for ideas that will make the hard core gamers who are obsessed with the lore twitch. Hence my admiration for your basework on the Mr Tannen.
Popular Post Corrgon
Here comes Lust. I decided to make her sit at the statue, so there was free space on the base. I was deciding some time how to use the gremlin from limited gator, if to keep it in the gators mouth, lay him under the Brutal Emissary, put him in chains with a Warden or use him with Lust. Hope you like this small diorama.
Butch
Great colors! The face of the gremlin is amazing and the details unbelievable (teeth an eyes)!

Popular Post Corrgon
This one I had assembled for some time, finally painted between Christmas and Sylvester. The base is a resin cast from a rock with trilobites using Instamold.
Zelaminator
That is some sick and happily twisted colours. Love it. Very cool stuff. You own the minis and the concept.
Corrgon
Both of my Crime bosses finished. Firstly wanted to paint some dragons on the flags (which I broge during putting together the figures), but then rather decidet for Oni faces, which were easier to paint.
lusciousmccabe
Awesome! Good call on the oni, think they call back to the model itself really well. Wouldn't take much to convert an oni out of him.
