Crooked Men - Shafted Question

Sholto

Question

Crooked Men's Shafted Action reads "Rg a6): Until the end of the turn, enemy models which end a move or push within a6 and in base contact with one of this Crew’s Scheme Markers suffer 2/3/7 damage which may not be cheated"

Q: If an enemy model ends a move or push in base contact with more than one friendly Scheme Marker, how many damage flips are there? Just one, or one per Scheme Marker?

One damage flip per instance of the aura that affects the model, per move or push that satisfies the criteria.

It doesn't matter how many scheme markers a model is in base contact with, what matters is "Is this model in the aura?" first and then "Did the the model end a move or push in base contact with one of this Crew's scheme markers?" when you go to resolve the aura.  Whether the model is in base contact with one scheme marker or a three, it was only one move/push.

If you had two Crooked Men models perform that action, and a model ended a push inside both auras, you'd resolve each aura.

It would have to be an effect on the scheme markers in order for base contact with multiple markers to trigger multiple damage flips, and instead it's an aura on the Crooked Men model.
