Obtenebris
Hello everyone! This past weekend I picked up my first batch of Malifaux models and I have an idea for some sculpting/converting I'd like to try on The Viktorias. However, I'm relatively inexperienced with green stuff/putty having only really used it for gap filling and I'd like some help. Being twins, I would like to sculpt them some new hair to make them look similar to a pair of twin sisters called The Veronicas whose music has really helped me emotionally and pushed me in a positive direction in life. This isn't the best picture, but it's recent. Any advice people can give? Links to videos, articles, or whatever are welcome. Also for tools, I have a GW sculpting tool set at my disposal and an x-acto knife kit with a standard hobby knife and a smaller blade knife as well. Franchute
Maybe a link to you favorite Veronicas' song?

I love so many of them, especially off the self-titled album. I'm a big fan of Untouched, Hook Me Up, Revenge is Sweeter (Than You Ever Were), Cruel, Born Bob Dylan, Cold, Did You Miss Me (I'm a Veronica), If You Love Someone, and Let Me Out. Obtenebris
A lot of their stuff is very pop style music, but their 2014 album covers several styles over numerous songs. A lot of growth for them musically.

Obtenebris
Thanks so much! I'll give them an in-depth look over the rest of the week and the weekend!
Obtenebris
Anyone else have any suggestions for this? I finally got to start building some of my Malifaux stuff over the weekend and I'm kind of terrified to try shaving or clipping off the Viks existing hair out of fear of ruining the models. Nymie_the_Pooh
If you are unfamiliar with sculpting then it might be a good idea to practice on something else. A bead of the approximate size of the head (a little off is fine) stuck to a toothpick should work for testing things out. Edit: Alternatively, letting a head shaped orb of putty cure on the end of a toothpick might actually work better.
