apes-ma
I just got an Aionus, and coincidentally some pals are thinking of getting a campaign together, so naturally I'm excited about the idea of using my shiny new model to lead my crew... Has anyone thought about or used Old Grindid in a campaign setting? What works well with him? I was thinking of starting with Void Wretches and taking some cues from a typical Tara crew, but the old man seems pretty flexible, and could go in many directions... Freman
I haven't played him myself, but he does seem pretty flexible. I'd try to build a more conventional list rather than go Tara themed. Without her ability to card dump Void Wretches and Nothing Beast are very fragile. Also have an idea of what master you want to build to, given the Wyrd Chronicles story of their history I'd suggest Hamelin would be the natural choice. That's a really good point though. And aiming to wards a master makes a lot of sense as well... Which Wyrd chronicles is that story in? Is it #21? I should give that a read... Freman
It was the one where they introduce Aionus.
