michi
Hi, I just looked at the following article and really like the ability to customize the scale of minature. http://www.3ders.org/articles/20160223-rough-and-tumble-3d-print-your-very-own-fantasy-board-game.html Here the question: Since Wyrd has all the models as 3D render, it shouldn't be too complicated to generate STL for 3D printing? I definitely would be very interested to 3D-print Malifaux models in 54mm size. Actually (not sure if this is only as I am getting old) but the models in 32mm scale are becoming too small for me. Am I the only one thinking in this direction? Just imagine: - Wyrd would strike a deal with a 3D printing service (which should have a location in Germany), allowing the models to be printed in 58mm scale. - You have a free choice of the material, so if your pockets are deep you could even get all the models in metal. Interested in your thoughts.
-Loki-
I wouldn't do it for gaming, but a few large peices like favoured masters for the display shelf would be nice.
ecs_norway
Yeah, there are a few sculpts I wouldn't mind having in something, say, six inches tall. Rasputina, for example. Especially if the first-run metal sculpt was available, that one was pretty cool.
