Ryino
Just picked up Outcasts, in particular the Viktorias, yesterday. Very excited to see this!
dropdeadcriminal
Excellent episode. I had heard so much about the slingshot previously and was not so keen on it, it was good to hear about using the Viks without that gimmick. As far as other models to bring with the crew, any thoughts on Pride. Send him up with Blood to drain cards from the opponent and limit their ability to cheat. There may be something that can be done between his Solo and Vanessa stacking your deck as well.
Khoregard
I liked the episode but I kinda sorta feel a bit of a disconnect between reading the cards that come in the starter box and advice on crew composition from a UK masters player. I was kinda off-put by the fact he mentioned he had never used either sisters 2 action before? Maybe I'm just more sensitive in this particular case as the sisters were my first foray into the game, but after listening to the cast, it didn't really sit well with me. That said, I can appreciate the crew composition he has assembled and its an incredibly efficient machine. I'm sorta sour about the implied excellence of both the Hodgepodge Emissary and Big Jake, both of whom aren't readily available for execution, barring proxies. It also rather irked me that neither of you could pronounce Shez'uul or Masamune Nihonto. Overall, I give this one a 6/10. In all honesty I prefer to listen to casts about masters I don't play, as its a great way to learn more about them without preconceived bias. Obviously. Thanks to both you Khyodee and your companion for the work you put in!
Ryino
Just finished listening! Very interesting crew comp. I tend to stray away from elite crews, which it seemed like the guest host was advocating for. Still awesome episode, and great to see a very interesting, and according to the post above me, fairly unique take on the sisters.

That was more just a format style that I've been doing. The idea is to cover the box since those are the models that most folks will start with using and the move on to the models that he recommends. If enough people would prefer it, I can skip covering models that the guest doesn't recommend. I think that is a meta difference between the UK and the States. The UK players are more open to using proxy models then the US players. I think its still a good idea to cover the models if they are strong because you can still proxy them in events.
