shahryar
Been really fighting the urge to buy him the problem i am noticing with most outcasts is they seem very killing at least killing in a straight forward way, rush up and punch it, blast it, etc. But levi however while being blasty by himself has an insane hiring pool so i was wondering if that let's him essentially handle all strats and schemes fairly well? edit: Fighting not footbridge....swype needs to be destroyed XD thank you everyone for not calling me out on it I would have felt worse
Freman
With his core crew he can handle anything, Ashes and Dust for example is a great scheme runner. With his Pariah upgrades he can choose to take the best Undead or Construct models to do the job. However as others point out, that can lead to analysis paralysis, where you can't decide what to take. Soulstone Miners for example are great for things like Power Ritual because they can basically pop up where you need the markers and then scurry over and finish the job. But yes, Leveticus's pool makes his crew, if not he himself, extremely flexible.
jonahmaul
Levi is one of, if not the, most versatile Masters in the game because he has the largest hiring pool meaning he can hire anything you need to get the job done. He is pretty straightforward - kill stuff dead then bury yourself for next turn (with or without summoning depending which way you go with him) but he also excels at being where he needs to be and killing priority targets (even if this is just an enemy scheme runner). LulleK
What do you guys think about Levy in reckoning? His waifs and abominations seems pretty easy for the opponents to get reckoning points from. At the same time he and his crew can be extreamely killy. jonahmaul
Levi is excellent in Reckoning because he's excellent in everything! If you go elite heavy then that's a lot of anchor's for him to come back near. You will have to protect the Waifs because of their low Wp and wound count but Levi is very killy and he can take all the usual Outcast killers. I'd leave the Abominations at home and not even bother with the upgrade to summon them though (though I often don't take that anyway). lusciousmccabe
I find waifs are hard enough to kill between their df6, 4 wounds and having nothing better to do than hide behind your other models and terrain all game.
KrazyIvan
Levi is so flexible, and good, at everything that he has become my crutch despite owning 6 other masters. Even schemes and strats that don't particularly look like his style are doable with the right mix of figs from his hiring pool. As for Reckoning, scoring off Waif's shouldn't be easy as they should be hidden in your own backfield. You should only have to worry about models who ignore LOS like Austringers or Lilith. Abominations are excellent tar-pits and are often worth sacrificing, even in Reckoning, if they will tie up your opponent while do more important things. They're tough for 4 point models, and their passives (damage pulse, suit removal, and no 0 actions) for an opponent to deal with them. I'll even cheat high cards on defense to keep them alive next to an important enemy model.
shahryar
This is probably an odd question but I actually like molly imo she is the res master with the most character especially phillip and the nanny, I know he is a very niche model but would he work well with levi as well(at least for the times when something like phillip is needed) The only ressers I was ever really interested in for the most part were molly and maybe seamus lol
KrazyIvan
Outcasts don't have much in the way of scheme marker manipulation, so I can see Phillip being useful when you need that.
shahryar
Yea sadly that was my one worry with outcasts I love the scheme marker concept of this game so anything to mitigate that.

Phillip has a lot more options for what to do with the counters. We have Aionus now as well, but at 12 points you better use the old man a lot...
