How long is a standard horse in Malifaux?

Hey all,

I am trying to find out, for the sake of a DC Mech Rider proxy, how long a standard horse is in the game. I found a decent lead that was 2.5". Is that good enough for an adequately-sized horse?

What's a standard horse? 

I mean, the Mechanical Rider, Pale Rider, Dead Rider, Hooded Rider, McCabe on horseback and the Mounted Guardsman are all on 50mm bases.

When looking at those pictures, keep in mind that a 50mm base is just slighly smaller than 2.5" across.

Plastic Mechrider's horse's body (without head or tail) is 28 mm long, the tail adds 20 mm. It's 33 mm high at the butt. It's 49 mm to the top of the head (without the mane).

2.5" is 63,5 mm, which depending on what part of the horse you were measuring could be huge.
