One or two Illuminated are usually good, especially if you activate Lynch early and give out Brilliance to enemies within their charge-range. A Ten Thunder Brother is my go-to scheme runner in most matches, and Izamu is definately worth his cost.

A suggestion would be to try Sensei Yu. Hungering Darkness does fine without Recalled Training, and I've found that I seldom get the chance to benefit from Addict, so you could free up his cost there. Picking Wandering River Style is great because it gives your list more mobility and makes it less predictable. When playing against experienced players, a lack of movement options usually lets your opponent pre-measure all your threat ranges and thus controlling the fight. Since you have many heavy hitters, you will get good value from handing out fast via Mighty Gust as well. For an example, an Illuminated with fast can hand out Brilliance with it's projectile attack, and then charge for insane damage. Another option for matches where you need to stand your ground and survive, like Turf War, is picking Low River Style instead. All your other models have good survivability on their own, having access to efficient healing and condition removal could nearly guarantee that they are still on the table at the end of the game.

why do you not get the opportunity to use Addict? I would've thought Ht3 would easily allow those Illuminated to keep in LoS

Another option for Fasts and Pushes is the Emissary.

The issue is not keeping in LoS of Huggy. The reason I seldom take Addict is because Illuminated are the only models I tend to use that can take advantage of it,  and they rarely have more than one or two opportunities to attack targets that have Brilliance per game. When those opportunities arise, whatever they charge is usually pretty much dead even if they don't have positive flips. I think Beckoners are too expensive for being so squishy, and both Lynch and Huggy typically kill whatever it is they attack. I usually rely more on both of their Ram-triggers more than their ability to hand out Brilliance, so Addict doesn't really do much for my play style.

No Beckoners?

I was going to say, if you have "Addict", why not take more models with Brilliance that can make more use of it.  I would also consider bringing 1 or 2 Depleted.  For 4 ss, they're amazing tarpit models (Hard to Wound, Hard to Kill, 8 Wds).  Granted, they're insignificant, but they tie up models very well, and give out Brilliance to everything within 2".  With a Beckoner close in range, they'll be hanging onto Brilliance every turn so long as she's close enough and stays alive.

Sidir with By Your Side can be an interesting pick as he's really hard to remove with healing every turn on an ace discard and shoots very accurately with sh7, a couple of High rams and he can unload 4 shots in his activation onto 2-4 targets This can be brutal. Being slow is his problem, so pick him when you need him to hold down a location for you.

I like a couple of longer ranged pieces with Lynch as it makes the enemy come to his kill zone or else face shots at range. I feel like Lynch does not need to max out on SS either.
