Hungering Derpness
So with fanfare and much ado,I have a swamp thing as part of my crew,In ten shades of green,He looks nasty and mean,But I have no idea what do. Should I build him to be as tanky as f***?Are there ways to help him hit like a truck? What upgrades to take,To avoid a mistake,Or is it all just a matter of luck? With Lilith is he a good pick? Can anyone suggest some good tricks? For what strats or schemes,Could he help my teamAny advice would be welcome here, plix.
SurreyLee
So, limiting your model purchases went well....haha, it's a horrible hobby huh? Lilith tangle shadowing a Juju in someone's face is always a giggle.Start Juju buried and get a gupp into the back field to die and unbury Juju in their face...another tactic (easy to spot though). Needs the upgrade of course.I like Juju and for 8 points he certainly can hit silly hard, keeping him alive is trickier and the eternal upgrade helps with that....it does mean you need to take more swampfiend models. Graves/Beckoners can help with his mobility a little bit too.
Bodiless
I've taken him a few times without his Eternal Fiend upgrade and always regretted it. He is not that difficult to kill so he tends to vanish pretty quickly without it. I think he works particularly well with Lilith - move up something fast or use Hexed Among You to get a model upfield and then replace it with Juju. You can put very immediate pressure on with a model you don't really care about dying. Just make sure you have a swampfiend you can reliably get killed to bring him back! Nical
As Dealer - Neverborn has good enforcers like Graves, Teddy. So we don't really need to use Bad juju as main dealer, but his dealing is good, too. As Tar pit - Bad juju can be good tar pit by 3" and Landslide, but he needs Eternal Fiend for his job.Additionally, Bad Juju is "one of" our best henchmen for Henchmen Hardcore. Bad Juju + Eternal Fiend = Almost Win Condition. Because Usual Sacrifice Action/Triggers can be used to only non-leader(Swallow You Whole) or living models(Devour), so your opponents never get VP by Assassinate. And he can take Hex Among you to use From the Shadow. Edited October 20, 2015 by Nical
Bodiless
Pretty sure Hexed Among You is minions only.
Nical
Pretty sure Hexed Among You is minions only.Right. I just forget to add I take 2 swampfiend minions like Waldgeists with Bad Juju for Hardcore Tuff war.
Hungering Derpness
So, limiting your model purchases went well....haha, it's a horrible hobby huh?By the time wave 6 arrives, I'll be bypassing assembly and painting and instead grinding my minis into a fine snortable powder. -.- Some tips here though - hopefully will get a chance to try them today. ^^
enderwiggin
Additionally, Bad Juju is our best henchman for Henchman Hardcore. Bad Juju + Eternal Fiend = Almost Win Condition. And he can take Hex Among you to use From the Shadow. I dunno, with Candy there's something to be said about having a nearly automatic answer for a quarter of the opponent's crew right from the beginning. Depending on her upgrades she can be almost as hard (if not moreso imo) hard to kill in Assassinate. The importance of handing out heals and controlling the opponent's crew activation in such a small format can't be ignored either.

It isn't pretty. I think there is room for an uprade too, either Mimic's blessing on Nekima or Aether connection on Candy for a totally unkillable model. I went against this in my last HH-tourney. Nical
Okay, I fix my post, bad juju is "one of" our best henchmen for Henchman Hardcore.Frankly, I have thought Candy is one of our best henchmen for henchman hardcore, too. So I have used her as leader. But I think Bad Juju + 2 Waldgeist +@ is as good as Candy Crew.
