New Through the breach general talents

 

Concussive blow

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character uses his strength to stun opponents. Choose a close combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

C Crack Skull: After damaging, the target gains the dazed condition.

Disguised

Requirement: Cunning +2 or higher

This character modifies her clothing and posture to appear non-threatening. This character may not be the target of a charge action. Additionally, this character must discard a twist card to declare a charge.

Flay

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character’s attacks are quick and efficient. Choose a close combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

M m Flay: the damage flip resulting from this attack may be cheated, even if it suffers one or more -.

Frantic

Requirement: Tenacity + 2 or higher

This character wants desperately wants to live. While this character has 2 or fewer wounds remaining, he gains + to attack actions. Additionally, while this character has two or fewer wounds, he gains no benefit from the focus condition.

Infect

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character coats her weapons in toxin. Choose a close combat or ranged combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

C Infect: After this attack succeeds, the target gains the poison +1 condition once for each C in the final duel total.

Knock-Back

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character swings with such force that his opponents are knocked away. Attacks with Heavy Melee weapons gain the following trigger:

m  Knock-Back: After damaging, push the target 2 yards directly away from the attacker.

Next target

Requirement: Speed +2 or higher

This character uses superior positioning to gain an advantage in close combat. Choose a close combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

m  Next Target: After damaging, push this character 3 yards in any direction.

Precise shot

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character has trained so thoroughly with his weapon that he knows the most vulnerable areas to place his shots. Choose a ranged combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

R m Precise Shot: When damaging, this attack ignores hard to wound and armor.

Precision attack

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character values accuracy and she has invested many hours training how to best strike her opponents. Choose a close or ranged combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

r Precision Attack: Immediately increase this characters duel total by 1 for each r in the duel total.

Reposition

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character uses superior positioning to gain an advantage in ranged combat. Choose a ranged combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

m Reposition: After damaging, push this character 3 yards in any direction.

Retreat to cover

Requirement: Defense 3 or less

This character is reticent to engage in close combat and has learned the value of cover when steel is flying. This character gains the following general action.

(0)   Take cover: This character may discard a twist card to push 3 yards in any direction.

 

 

Scout the Field

Requirement: Initiative +2 or higher

This character uses the lay of the land to his best advantage in any potentially dangerous situation. Immediately after initiative is determined at the start of dramatic time, this character may take a walk action.

Superior positioning

Requirement: Fated

This character realizes the benefits of moving from cover to cover. This character gains the following general action.

(           (0)  Wander the Earth: Push this model one yard in any direction.

Surge

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character knows the secret ways and can read the formless triptych. Choose a magical skill. All actions with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

T t Surge: After succeeding, draw a card.

Tally sheet

Requirement: Fated

This character gains momentum as her foes fall before her. This character may draw a Twist card each time an attack generates one or more critical effects.

Tumbler

Requirement: Acrobatics 3+ or higher

This character uses superior agility to outmaneuver his opponents. This character gains the following general action.

(          (0)   Tumble: This character may discard a twist card to move a number of yards equal to their walk, ignoring intervening terrain and models.

Trigger Happy

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character believes in victory through superior firepower. Choose a ranged combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

R m Trigger Happy: After damaging, immediately perform another attack with this weapon against the same target. This action may not declare triggers.

 

 

Twist the blade

Requirement: Specialization in the chosen skill

This character is wicked enough to cause the most gruesome injuries. Choose a close combat skill. All attacks with the chosen skill gain the following trigger:

C C Twist the Blade: Damage flips receive +.
