Huggy Campaign Advice

I have a campaign starting at my lgs and would like input as to viability.  

I'm unsure about if I will allow masters from the onset, but assuming I dont, I was trying to think of a henchman who synergizes very well with the theme of a crew even without the master.  Which led me to Huggy

Would a Jakob Lynch themed list work in a campaign without Lynch?

If it's a campaign like Shifting Loyalties, the problem might be that Huggy can go down hard and fast against certain crews (Sonnias troupe killed him easily in my last game with all their Incorporeal-ignoring weapons) and has few defenses apart from Incorporeal.

And if you then have to flip for lasting damages, that could get annoying ...

Just try and keep an ace, 2 or BJ for Huggy.  Don't use it for anyone except him.

Once you get the ball rolling on him and he has regen or armor, or anything else, he will likely wind up being a MONSTER.   A MONSTER!!!! <horror-scream/>

My Huggy is immune to Slow and Paralyzed and gets Finished Off only on a 11+. With careful positioning and crew/upgrade support he can be quite durable most of the time. I play 10T for the campaign, but still :P
