SpiralngCadavr Posted July 27, 2015 Report Share Posted July 27, 2015 Y'know... the more I look at this guy, the more I like him- while he wasn't what I expected, he's got all of Tara's themes except undead built into his aesthetic, with the weird west/lovecraftian thing and a ton of detail referencing the NB. TehMik Posted July 28, 2015 Report Share Posted July 28, 2015 I like it. It's *looks for right word* simpler than some other sculpts, but I don't mean that it's devoid of detail. The slowly-walking-forward pose plus the beckoning action is simpler than, say, some of the Oxfordian Mages but that adds to the model. It's wonderfully creepy. Not what I was expecting, but to be honest, I had no idea what I was expecting (although it was probably something human!). I can't wait to read his fluff! Has a very Lovecraftian Cultist feel to go along with the rest of Tara's Void creatures. Can't wait to see renders and have it available for purchase, because I'll definitely be picking it up.
