tomjoad Posted April 7, 2015 Report Share Posted April 7, 2015 So, after listening to the most recent episode of Before We Begin, I am seriously considering running the wonder weasel over the peasant in my Shenlong crew. Getting both of his triggers every turn seems like it would be almost automatic, and I think those heals, pushes, and cards are worth the 2 extra soul stones. The drawback, of course, is that I will get fewer scheme markers, and I will lose an activation on most turns by only having one kamaitachi instead of a peasant being resummoned constantly. Patzer Posted April 7, 2015 Report Share Posted April 7, 2015 Weasel is great with Shenlong. It gives the crew additional healing, speed, and cards. Its attacks is ok too! The Peasants are still viable though. Cheaper activations who can do different tasks, like getting Focus onto Snipers, etc. All and all, they do a very different job for Shenlong. Provide for the temple can only be used within 1 inch so its hard to keep them up with your crew and use that action. This can be fine if you spend the first turn just providing shenlong with focus for mighty gusts, then spending the rest of the game getting into position for scheme dropping. The sniper bro idea Tom mentioned also works well as usually shenlong wants to be up field and having a peasant giving focus to archer or sniper each turn is nice.
