admiralvorkraft
Is it just me, or does the new Leveticus sculpt look more McMourning than Mcmourning does? Crazy hair, giant syringe, plenty or surgical tools... What sort of conversion would you like to see, if I were to convert the new Levi into an Alt for the good doctor? Thanks! MasterDisaster
I think it might just be you. McMourning is carrying all sorts of surgical tools and equipment including a bone saw, drills, medical lab coat and the headlight as well and has probably some of the craziest hair in the game (except maybe Lady J's gravity defying hair!) He's even carrying a surgical tray with one of his experiments on it. Leveticus has a fairly similar appearance but lacks the Doctor look. Sure he has a great big spike on one army and vials of red liquid (I assume blood?) but I don't think he resembles McMourning as much as he could. He does dabble in a somewhat similar field of study but rather than trying to re-create life by re-animating corpses he melds bodies with machinery so it makes sense that he would have similar tools and equipment about himself. Also... Leveticus' hair is not nearly wild enough to resemble McMourning in my opinion. Still I doubt it would take much to convert him but I'd feel wrong changing such a nice model. Vermicious Knid
Leveticus looks like Peter Cushing a lot more than he looks like McMourning, IMO. I don't really think the resemblance between the two is that strong
admiralvorkraft
I can see where you're coming from. The current McMourning sculpt just gives me more of a murderous waiter vibe than anything else... I think I'll toy around with it if I ever have the money, but at this point the old McMourning does what I need him to do.
Ianthecat2
Well it is certainly a much better sculpt than the first metal McMourning he looked like Side Show Bob from the Simpsons
EnternalVoid
I like the first metal McMourning model compared to any of since myself. I like the posture and face alot more than the others.

I like the posture and face alot more than the others. For me it's all about the new plastic version. He is right up my street, saying that the new Leveticus is also pretty epic in my opinion too. For the most part I think the plastic models beat their metal counterparts hands down. The only one that really stands out as worse/potentially worse is Colette but that's pure speculation based on the artwork we have seen. I'm kind of gutted they have abandoned the burlesque theme.

Vermicious Knid
The metal figures are pretty silly and fairly unprofessional looking, from a technical pov. The new plastics are easily superior in almost all cases IMO.
SpectreEliteGaming
McMourning vs Ramos vs Leveticus - Geriatric Royale Rumble? A starter box for old folks homes - that's basically a completely untapped gaming demographic for miniwargames
Vermicious Knid
Don't forget Von Schill!
MasterDisaster
Don't forget Von Schill! Yan Lo is also pretty over the Hill and Zoraida is no spring chicken! In fact I think we have stumbled onto something here. Is Malifax basically one big retirement home?
