Ramzeseba
Polish kind of eBay for 20 dollars.
Dirial
Polish kind of eBay for 20 dollars. Could you be a little more precise? I am looking for a train of matching proportions, and this one looks good.

ArcticPangolin
Such a great start! Can't wait to see it with some paint and scatter terrain The pictures look as though the scenarios and battle reports are just waiting to write themselves! NIGHTHATER
Arcticpangolin, Ya I like the map a lot. You can't fight here all the time but for city/town map it's got that western feel. Nighthater
MasterDisaster
Love the looks of the board there.Throw a load of crates, barrels, carts etc in the streets to balance out the terrain and make it more fair and you are ready to rock and role! Jimbobovalsocks
I think it looks very cool. When it comes to gaming on it, I feel you have a lot of the board covered in large pieces of impassible terrain with big open areas between them. You might need to add in some bushes, crates, a pond, a small forest etc. just to break up those large open areas and have some variety of different terrain features. P.S. that train is fantastic. It looks amazing and actually works well game-wise as a peice of terrain too.
Kotep
I would definitely agree with the assessment on that train! Great size and nice looking feel for the table!

kmdl1066
Very nice. Only comment I have is that the bases are pulling the great painting down. Maybe something as simple as a dry brush to add a little contrast to them would help.
dgraz
Echo on the bases thing.....I'm a bad baser, but just dry-brush and some static grass can really make a difference. And to play off of your thread title..........with models and terrain like that, it's a wonderful world to be in (well aside from all the undead trying to kill you )
Ramzeseba
I wanted to make the effect of the fresh mud... After the rain easily dug up the corps
kmdl1066
Ah, it's probably just not showing up clearly in the photographs. I know my photographs never look like the figure looks to me!

Machiavelli
Very nice looking table and lovely paintjob all round; the colours are nice and bold. Especially, Nicodem is brilliant. Love the half buried zombie but his blue cloak is what steals it for me. Very rich and royal colour, really makes him stand out, which is exactly what you want from your leader! Scarab7664
Sweet looking group there. Very well done. You mentioned you were going for mud looking bases on these guys. Depending on how moist you are thinking you might want to throw some gloss on the mud here and there. I wouldn't recommend a high gloss though. Just a medium gloss in the deeper are areas of the bases to give it a moist feel. Just a thought. Cheers, John...
Yngair
I think that some fine blendid flock would work well on those bases, they do look like fresh mud, but I think that when I look at them I expect some form of foliage even if its only a small amount. That expection just makes the lack of foliage stand out. That is a lovely looking crew.
IndyGamer
Can you tell us what company makes the MDF scenery? In particular, I would like to know who makes the stagecoach. Also, I may be incorrect, but the train looks like one that is sold at Toys R Us in the states. http://www.toysrus.com/buy/tru-exclusive-brand-nodes-old/vehicles-remote-control/trains-train-sets/fast-lane-western-express-train-set-black-and-silver-9700-3342341
Ramzeseba
MDF http://shop.microartstudio.com/battlefield-hdf-terrain-c-88.html 3mm mdf, assembly 90% without glue - really nice (32 mm scale!, not 28 like most) Train looks very similar (it is hard to say about scale, but the rail look this same) http://www.ramirez.nserwer.pl/galeria/gallery/gecko/pociag2/2.jpg http://www.ramirez.nserwer.pl/galeria/gallery/gecko/pociag2/3.jpg
