hclix81
This talent states that it removes a suit from the attackers spell. Does this mean that non fated cannot cast spells against a fated with this talent? In general how does a non fated spell attack sequence work? ReubenHappens
The flip would still take place when the Fated resists the spell. If the required suit was still on the card, the non-fated would be able to cast the spell. It just means that they have to rely on luck of the draw to make it happen. Ad1
This talent states that it removes a suit from the attackers spell. Does this mean that non fated cannot cast spells against a fated with this talent? In general how does a non fated spell attack sequence work? Training in the art of Counter-Spelling has given this character an ability to resist magics intuitively. When this character is targeted by a magical attack or Action the Attacker loses any Suit associated with their Magical skill. They loose any suit associated with the skill not their flip. So you take talent Arcane Musings and you can disgreard a tome requirement from a spell TN. This alllows you to ignore the need for a tomes on some spell flips. But if you have Specialised Skill Sorcery - Masks as well as arcane musings you could successfully cast any sorcery spell and not have to worry about needing a particular suit. The Counterspell talent would cause the caster to loose the mask that is associated with the Sorcery skill via the Specialised Skill talent thus requiring them to flip a mask or cheat fate to get one. Hopefully that makes sense.
