Self made Models

In my local shop today I was asked the following question by a fellow player and instead of making something up I told them I would ask the community and let them know tomorrow when we play. (Are local shop has no Henchman)

 

Since I bought an arsenal deck I have the cards I need so would it be against the rules if I showed up with a Voodoo Doll I made myself from burlap sack material and painted it then put it on its proper base. I also made a Primordial Magic from Epoxy Putty and painted it then put it on its proper base. I know I can’t use them at the same time but would they be legal to use in tournament.

 

I didn’t know how to answer so I am bringing it to all of you I am trying to become a Henchman so the shop has one so if someone could give me answer in a technical way or let me know if I missed it in the rules that would be amazing.

totally fine as long as its easily identifiable as the model. in a tournament setting it is up to the TO if the model is legal to be played.

You are actually not allowed to use a proxy if you want to make an officiel tournament according to the rules from the M2E "gaining ground". You are however allowed to alter the official figure, as long as it is still easily recognised.

It's totally down to the TO, For Tornaments officially run by Wyrd your model has to be a Wyrd product and obvious what it represents.

Scratch building and conversions are all part of the hobby, most players won't have issues with them and those that do  i feel sorry for.  Tournaments it's up to the TO however most won't mind.
