Yngair
Hi folks, some of you will remember my Lady justice crew I painted in a midnight theme. I have finally got around to buying and painting lucius's crew, which is one of my favorite crews both rules wise and miniatures. I can remember eying this crew box over a year ago and decided not to buy it, and in some way im glad i didn't, as i wouldn't of come up with my midnight theme yet and I am genuinely having the most fun painting I ever had with this theme. I got round to ordering some more street bases from DCB miniatures and got some broken street bases as well. So here is my Lucius crew as is, will be looking into getting more guild guard, and I have a guild pathfinder but i want multiple pathfinders as far as gaming goes. Hope you all enjoy. Thanks for reading.
zFiend
Nice! My favourites are the Riflemen, the coats are amazing!
Cyphre
Looks incredible! How did you achieve the toned down colours?
Yngair
The grey shade colour is effectively the undercoat / basecoat. Then all of the colours are glazed on as highlights, which dulls down the colours and the uniform shade makes everything become less distinct. SpiralngCadavr
cool technique, definitely interested as i've never found a lot of use for a grey undercoat.
Yngair
Well its a concept i want to develop further and see if i can use it to produce less stylized paint schemes as well. although all my malifaux will probably be in the midnight theme, it just fits. dgraz
Excellent. But my favorite Guardsman model isn't there....the one bracing his pistol on his sword hand.....that's one cool model.
