Lucius crew for Reckoning

Hi all. Getting back into the swing of things for Malifaux (longtime player) and wanted to start working with Lucius. Looking at the amount of "extra" AP he can generate in a turn seems crazy good.

Looking at something like this for Reckoning. Thoughts?

Lucius -- 4 Pool

+Legalese [1]

+Suprisingly Loyal [1]

Primordial Magic [2]

Doppleganger [7]

Illuminated [7]

Illuminated [7]

Mr. Tannen [6]

Tuco [7]

Waldgeist [6]

Waldgeist [6]

Would be looking to take Killy or Defensive schemes with this obviously.

Doppleganger copies "show you the door" and uses it 3 times, on graves.

Graves then uses it twice on the doppleganger - both models just moved 30"

Now, they could also be used to push other things up the board, or to push enemy models out of the way.

But Show Ya The Door is limited to once for friendly models a turn? How do you pull this off?

Once per turn per friendly model, had that played wrong against me...but that means, with careful placement you could get a trio of models moving fast...

Young nephs and waldgeist fill two very different roles - waldgeist can hold areas as they are pretty good tanks, and can control areas with their terrain generation and flexible engagement range.

Young are purely aggressive models - but not particularly resilient. They are also a bit more mobile.

Depends on the scheme pool IMO

Played a game last night with this:

Lucius w legalese and take Guards upgrade

Doppelgänger

Beckoner

Illuminated x2

Guild hounds x2

Warden

Austringer

Turf war and Plant Evidence and Line in the Sand.

Worked ok. Think I would have been better off with insidious madness instead of the hounds. Having to keep the dogs together was a pain.

Really enjoyed the crew. The ability to do so much with models before they actually activated was very cool.

My opponent had a couple Hanged that were a really big problem.
