  1. Box to Tabletop (Ep. 1 Pt. 4): Painting Black Hair (Domador de Cadaveres by Wyrd) enjoy!
  2. Hi guys! I am not 100% that if this is the right place to post this. If not, then please say so! Since I first discovered Malifaux, I was always very impressed and fascinated by the lore of this game. So I decided to start the new "Tabletop Lore" series on my YT channel "Bier und Brezel Tabletop" with the Malifaux background. The video is in German, but I went ahead and added English subtitles. The story was translated and rewritten based on "Malifaux - A brief history" found on the Wyrd Website (https://www.wyrd-games.net/malifaux-history/) and inside the core rule book. Part two will be uploaded next Monday, followed by short features on the Malifaux factions and selected masters (I love the Dreamer lore, but I am also open to further suggestions for featured masters!) I hope you enjoy the video!
  3. Played at the Sword & Board in Toronto, Ontario in early Dec 2017. Hope y'all enjoy!
  4. Hi guys, I'm assuming that a lot of us have occasionally set on a battle report on YouTube whilst painting. Personally I consume those quite fast, so I was just wondering if any of you knew any other channels I ought to know about? I was thinking this thread also could be used as a service for those who might not be familiar with the respective channels. Personally I like (and know of) these channels. - Rough Rider Wargaming - Mostly Malifaux, with battle reports and tactica. Long videos. - Wargaming for Fun - Were active for a while, been silent for some time though. Long videos. - Mo11usq - Battle reports and tactica. Short videos. - Encounter Wargaming - Recently started. Have one report, some painting building tutorials. Long video - Guerilla Wargaming - Occasionally a report on fridays, although it's been quite a while since the last. Long videos. - Btbplays - Haven't been active for two months, but have a lot of battle reports. Long and short videos. If you happen to know anyone I've neclected, please let me know and I will add them asap! /Slarti
  5. Hey guys, So I have been recording some footage for my FLGS who wanted to get into youtube and start posting battle reports. Having done reports before, they came to me for some help and I agreed. They had a style in mind, I thought: "Not what I am used too, but hey, lets give it a go!" and bam, we have just posted our first game We have so many ideas on how to improve our future vids and I am very excited to implement them, and I hope you guys enjoy this video, and our future content! As a final side note, both players are fairly new to the game, so there might be the odd rules error here and there. If you like what you see, then please leave us a like, drop us a comment and heck, if you want too, subscribe. Thanks a lot guys, here is the link, I hope you like it! Edit: I have a new mic coming in tomorrow, so future sound quality should be ace.
  6. I've search YouTube for hours plenty of times. I just cannot find any demo vids showing how to play 2e. Sure there are a few intro videos but nothing that shows how to fully play Malifaux 2e. I would have thought someone would have video recorded a Henchman demoing 2e at a game store somewhere. It would be amazing to have a demo series of videos!
  7. Hi all! I just posted a video tutorial about Hamelin: Hateful Darkblack's Intro to Hamelin. It's intended to be an intro video to give an idea of how the Crew works, for those who might be picking it up, or who might be facing Hameling for the first time. This is similar to the videos I did for Jack Daw and Leveticus. it's a little longer than those because Hamelin has more Core Crew, and because I go through the long activation/summoning chains that are possible with a Plagued Crew. Please give it a look! Comments welcome, here or there.
  8. Inspired by the excellent article on introducing new players to Malifaux by Michael Kelmelis in Chronicles 13, I decided to do a few Youtube videos covering the basics. Here's the first batch - http://www.farfaraway.org/blog/2014/08/07/malifaux-m2e-video-tutorials/ Owen
  9. So my Gencon order came in the other day, and upon finding the old video camera I was inspired me to do a video about the new Malifaux 2E Rulebook. This is the first video I've made in years, and the first I've ever put up on youtube, so let me know what you think. (The acoustics where I normally do my hobbying was pretty bad, so I moved to a different area of the house, hence the table cloth.)
  10. Hey there everyone! Here in Mexico, there´s not that many people who play Wargames, and there´s even less of those that like Malifaux. I´m working on promoting the game locally, and we have gathered a little club in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco. A local Media studio called Lateral Images has a small Internet show that´s all about reporting on Mexico´s board game scene. I was invited to participate in 3 episodes and decided Malifaux needed some love. The first one was an introduction (in general) to wargames, and this one is all about the game. The next one will be about rules. They tell me subtitles are coming soon. But here you go on the meantime
  11. I've just started to get into Malifaux, thought i'd post a little video intro I've been working on and see what everyone thinks of it. http://paintedaddiction.blogspot.com/2011/06/malifaux-intro.html
  12. Here's a video I found from battlebunker.com. He makes some pretty cool terrain and made a video of a Malifaux game. There's a lot of mistakes and some rule bypassing to get the basics across, but I thought it was worth watching. I found myself looking stuff up in the book as either stuff I missed or to check what the rule was. [ame] [/ame]
