  1. From the album: Demi's mini den

Base is a 25mm base by Micro Art Studio, glued on generic Wyrd 30mm base (it fits right into the dent!)

  3. From the album: Demi's mini den

Trying my hands at wet blending for the first time. I love how her colors pop, the photo doesn't give back how vibrant she is in real life. She is my personal favourite from the entire Seamus crew so far. Base is a 25mm base by Micro Art Studio, glued on generic Wyrd 30mm base (it fits right into the dent!)

"Christine", because every crew needs a bubbly pastel-goth zombie babe. :D I really enjoyed painting her, but I'll definitely stick to store-made modelling lamps in the future, it is way too big compared to her size. Base made with Fimo Air Light and a lollipop stick.

"Esther", the black "beauty" of the trio. The wash really got the better of me this time, she is the only figure in the crew I am not 100% satisfied with. Probably will make a new Belle if I get my hands on one. She stays as she is to commemorate my mishaps on the journey. Base made with Fimo Air Light and grass flock made by Noch.

The Second. Due to the ficle design of his scissors, I have decided to give the figure additional support and plant it into an unfortunate victim. Base made with Fimo Air Light.

  20. From the album: Demi's mini den

The very first miniature I have painted and with which the whole hobby began in January 2022. :D The color scheme follows the exact order of my partner to whom the crew belongs to, as he wanted to make the whole Redchapel gang "vampire/Bluebeard" themed. Base handcrafted out of Fimo Air Light clay, a great material but horrible to use in such a small scale.

  22. Hey there! I'm Demi, relatively new to this hobby which was introduced to me by my partner. He's into the wargaming part of Malifaux, I happily overtook the painting part from him. I am greatly inspired by EonsofBattle and Squidmar Miniatures on how to become better at this new hobby. I'm using Vallejo Game Air paints (without airbrush), Italiery 5/0 and 10/0 brushes and a Mucoplant bottle as painting stand. Bases are made of trash and Fimo Air light clay. Seamus was my first crew ever painted (miniature-wise, although I have been painting as a hobby for a couple years now) and I feel like I have already came a long way since this crew, thanks to almost daily practice which I greatly enjoy. I'll upload the rest of the rest of the minis later separately. Now, the Seamus crew, asked to revamp them as... Well, vampires. In coloration, at least. Specifically asked to use this dead red and light blue in the crew as a theme. Seamus, the very first: Copycat Killer, conveniently stabbed in someone's back: Rotten Belle Nr. 1, "Susan": Rotten Belle Nr.2 (this I am particularly not proud of, the wash overspilled...): Rotten Belle Nr. 3, lamp post made of a lollipop stick and clay: Madame Sybelle: Let me know what you think!
  23. This is my 3rd topic and its all about necromancers! I’ll upload my progress on ressurectionists slowly but surely. I started to paint the faction with the first miniature I bought for malifaux - Seamus the Red Chapel killer. Seamus is one of the best (in my opinion) when it comes to the model itself (just look at his nasty smile) and fluff. NOTE: I actually repaint Seamus as I didn't liked my previous result (painted last year). The old one looked like this: The new version felt faaaaar better, especially his face. Next coming are: - Carrion Emissary - Asura Roten - Mindless Zombies
  24. I'm looking for help with the direction I should go with my Ressers. I have picked up a lot from ebay sharing with a friend which contained the following: McMourning and chiuahua, a nurse, 3 rabble risers, 3 hounds, Sebastian, bette noire, 3 Belles, 3 Hounds Rem, M.Sybelle and Mortimer. My question is where do I go with this crew as there is a mixture of a lot of different boxes and I'm not sure what is viable and what isn't as I am fairly new to Malifaux. Do I get another master/s or do I just add other boxes? What purchases 2e or 3e should I get? Any help and advice would be great
  25. I'm kinda new to Malifaux, played awhile back. Now I see Molly Squidpiddge is a master of her own crew. I want her to still hench for Mister S! I haven't picked up the "landscape" card yet, cause I don't want it if I can't use Molly like the "green booklet" card. But the gang here is trying to get current with the game. The crew creator on this website won't let me pick her for a Seamus crew. I'm hoping this is a bug... I see I can make her master of my Seamus crew without him there... can Molly run with Seamus, or is she still holding a grudge?
