  1. Here's a fun little set of dragons that I painted up. Both minis are Reaper Bones plastic. I believe I made the base from a mini CD (they're exactly 80mm wide, so they work really well at this size). I had a lot of fun with this dragon- I'm always fond of painting dragons in non-standard chromatic colors.
  2. I love the tradition where I get minis that my daughter picked out. This is one that she described as "a Squid-Octopus." Also "He looks like he's gonna eat me." I believe he's supposed to be one of the stranger D&D creatures (a sort of stalagmite that eats the rare creature to walk into a cave- sort of like a carnivorous plant, except larger, deadlier, and living in environment that doesn't have plentiful creatures to support it. Naturally, we had to incorporate it into our Mouslings game, and I found this encounter was my favorite moment as a GM. - Mouslings are at sea GM: You hear singing. It sounds like children waying come and play with us. Make a will save. (4 Year old makes will save, fails. Her mother passes. GM considers saying something about being compelled to believe the voices, then thinks better of it). Yep, you hear children singing "Come play with us." 4yo: We need to go play with the children! Let's go right now! We get out of the boat to find the children. Mom: Maybe they aren't really... 4yo: We go play with the children! - The mouslings disembark, and are attacked by a strange tentacled monster that was impersonating children singing 4yo: (with astonishment) He lied! I went for a fleshy appearance, rather than making it look like an inorganic stalagmite. It just seemed more horrific a creature that way. The base I made for it was based on some Kingdom Death bases that I've made. For some reason, this creature just strikes me as so extremely strange that it fits right in in that hell dimension setting. Plus, I had made several of these Plains of Faces bases for clients, but I hadn't had a chance to paint one myself yet.
  3. Reaper Pharaoh chibi from their Halloween line. I normally keep them clean but I wanted it to match the tomb wall which was made with super sculpy them hand painted to a picture I found online of a real Egyptian tomb. Thanks for looking :)
  4. This is an adventuring party I created for the Iron Kingdoms RPG. Our group has been playing for years, but this is the first time we've really gotten into playing Menites (there's an issue of them not playing well with non-humans). Our group started their own order of knights who like to emphasize that "there's a place for all at the feet of Menoth." In role playing terms, it has been a lot of fun- they're quite condescending to the non-humans, but at the same time, they try to convert the dirty children of the Wurm rather than simply killing them all off. They all started life as Reaper Bones minis: Warcaster/Priest: Paladin of the Order of the Wall/Man at Arms: Adherent of the Order of the Fist/Cutthroat Military Officer/Spy (impersonating an Ordic Aristocrat)
  5. Here's an odd mini that I painted right after Nethyrmaul. Instead of cleaning up my wet pallet (like I ought to) I decided to just use the paints that were already on it. I pushed most of the colors together to create different kinds of neutral tones (it's kind of funny because the undead dragon was pretty bright). Anyway, here she is.
  6. Here's our party of Iron Kingdoms adventurers that I've converted. FIrst off- this is our Ogrun Artillerist/Alchemist. The main body of him was made from a Reaper Bones Orc, and the cannon is made from a GW missile. This is Lug- our Mighty Gobber Man-at-arms/Duelist. It is pretty nice having a little gobber for our tank. He was made from a Bones female dwarf- sword hand is from Mordheim, and the head and breastplate are just green stuff. This last one is our Priest of Cyrris/Arcanist. He also dabbles in alchemy. Also a bones mini with less sculpting than the other two- I altered his ears and hair to make him look more human, then gave him a cool tuning kit instead of the dagger he had in his hand originally.
  7. Here's a Wyrmgear that I got tp paint up a little while ago. The mini really has tons of options for composition since he's made up of so many different metallic parts that could be picked out in many different formations. Here is version. And I've posted him to CMON for anyone who cares to vote.
  8. Sascha Dubois, Time Chaser Pin-Up Sophie Pakpao, Mage Klahan, Venomspitter Eskin, Rogue More Info: http://www.reapermini.com/Greens
