Hi, I'm new here and this would be topic dedicated to my first warband - Arcanists Ramos. I got into game by a friend called Balefirestorm on this forum. And I really like the game. In fact I want to start playing right now. So I need an army. I'll start with Ramos as nobody has it in my area and I can easily prox whole army using minis/bits I already have. I'll be buying Guild faction later on. And then another army as soon as I figure out what playstyle I would like best. So not sure if posting pictures of minis made by other manufacturers is legal on this forum, but this is how I'm gonna get into Malifaux. Army I'll be making from bitz: - Ramos and Brass Arachnid - Howard Langston and or Miss Step - Joss - Lots of Steam Arachnids and Swarms - Electric Creations As soon as I start I'll post some pictures of work in progress.

Main selling point - Steampunk Spiders! I need pointers to get started with a reasonable chance of success. First purchase: I've bought the Ramos Box set, an extra blister of arachnids, a Gunsmith and an electrical creation. I took the Gunsmith to add some much needed range to the list but otherwise have no idea what I'm doing yet. Questions: What should I be getting in addition to the above? A totem? Should I swap the Steamborg for a Large Steampunk Arachnid or two? Should I bring in more M&SU folks? Opinions and reasoning behind the opinion is much appreciated. -Dave

It has been a long time since I have posted anything Wyrd, but as my local club is running a league I have finally getting round to painting some more Malifaux minis Rather than giving my Ramos crew the usual steampunk look I decided to paint them up with a Portal theme, while they may be a little mono-chrome I hope you like them: Ramos (with an attempt at osl on white) Steampunk Arachnids (on un-accessorised bases) Steampunk Arachnid Swarm (with puzzle cube) Sadly the poor little arachnids did not survive there trip across the pond and their some of their legs were weakened or already broken so had to be replaced with pins. To make matters worse I just got a pack of the alternate versions and none of them have front legs That's all I have done for now, but I have the remainder of a 35pt crew get on with over the next few weeks. Cheers
