So I cobbled together a Captain proxy. I used the decapitated head from the young nephilim kit, but it is larger than most other models, so I used the extra set of legs from the strong arm and the extra left arm of Mr. Graves. I took the hammer from the metal Johan kit and the remainder from a competitors bits and green stuff. Oh, and the Captain's mustache is a rail worker's ponytail. You can see my pics in my gallery. So I have owned the original Nekima model, and it recently has broken on me. I really don't want to go and buy her again to just replace her once the plastic comes out. Simply because I really don't like how she is made. (Gorgeous model, horribly designed...) I have been trying to find a good proxy model for her, but have had no luck. Everything is either too expensive or too small. What would you guys recommend? What models did you use when she first had to be proxy'd??
Today I found a box of victorian based zombies and I HAD to buy them to use for the future in a Nicodem based game. I generally prefer to purchase the original models and not to use proxies. Problem is, I really dislike the MZs Wyrd has to offer. I just think the models are too dull and boring to fit in with the awesome models the game has otherwise to offer. So on this rare occasion I purchased proxies. (I will probably end up ordering 10 MZ cards from the shop, so I have them to accompany the game.) Here they are:
