Hey guys, Seeing as Broken Promises is officially out this month, I was wondering how long it would take before we could get our hands on the digital version? It was my understanding that they were always released at the same time?

Where have the errata pdf's gone?? all i see now is the jpeg photos of the errata'd cards, definitely not as practical for printing my errata'd cards..someone help please

Welcome to M2E all! Had my first game of M2E last night and it was a blast. I really like how the rules have cleaned up and streamlined the game. As a new player, the game took half the time a game of 1.5 did. I found that I often had to refer to the rules to check schemes and strategies. With all the models, terrain, cards etc on the table it was a bit crowded to be having the book out as well. As a result, I quickly made some Strategy and Scheme reference cards. MALIFAUX GURUs/MODs/ASSASSINS please feel free to let me know if these are an IP violation and/or if you'd like me to remove them as no threat etc is intended. They created solely for the personal use of the players of Malifaux (preferably those that own a rulebook) as a reference and for ease of play. You can find the link to the Strategies Cards on my GoogleDocs here. Just download and print them off. Cut the cards out, fold them in half and laminate them or what have you & you're good to go. I will be finished the Scheme cards within the next couple of days as children & wife allow. When they are completed, I'll add the links to the documents here as well as in my signature. Feedback and constructive criticism is appreciated.

As someone new to this game, it is unclear to me what the $15 Rulebook in the online store actually contains since there is no description. Does one need all three books to play with the newest models? Also, it is unclear as to which one of these rule books is the one available as a modified version in the PDF download. Is the PDF all the rules? Does one still need the expansion, Rising Powers, in addition to the PDF that is available in order to play with the newest models? Even though I am new to gaming with minis my boyfriend is not and even he was confused when seeing three books at our local game shop. Since the game is new to the store the employees don't know much about it either (especially since all books come in shrink wrapping). I'm very excited to get playing this game, but we both just need to know which rules we need for what. We're pretty sure he picked one of the original starter boxes and I picked one of the newest, and we don't want to sit down to play to find out we are missing rules for my starter set. Thank you!
