  1. I decided that I'd post up pictures of the minis I've paitned for what is probably my favorite space marine chapters- the Salamaners. I have painted a lot of them over the years. The first is a whole army that I painted over the course of several years for a client. For this force, we went with a sort of combined interpretation for Salamander skin- they have an African skin tones with the yellow hair that older Salamanders have had, but not the drow skin or eyes that some of them have.   3. I used air brush, freehand, water effects and more! This project had a lot of firsts for me, I'm really pleased with how it came out. I had so much fun painting in the light emitting from the egg and the sharp shadows on his coat and on the rocks behind him.

  8. Well I hope you all enjoy it. This was my first go at OSL and I think it turned out pretty good. I really enjoy this painting challenge because it gets me to work harder on a model to put more time and detail. I did attempt also at a dead outlaw, but it was getting weird so I stuck to this one instead. Here is hoping you like it as much as I do. Thanks for viewing!
