Some crazy folks are moving in on your turf, and it's time to eject them from the vicinity... forcefully if necessary! Welcome to my first league as the new henchman of The Gamer's Armory, in Cary, NC. I will be hosting this with my good friend and fellow henchman Dawn McCormack Plunge from the Durham meta at Atomic Empire Who? You! And anyone who has been interested in seeing how a tournament works without the pressure of doing multiple games in one day. What? This will be a five round league event run in the format of a tournament. We will use GG18, you will have one opponent a week. Future opponents will be determined by differential and CP. So if you lost first week, you'll play someone else who also lost. Only one game counts, so feel free to practice the pool with other people or play practice games with your opponent! It's all about having fun while maintaining the rules structure of a tournament. If there aren't enough people to do a five round (like only 8 participants) then we'll do random pairings for first two weeks and then the last three will be based on differential and CP. When? June 1st through July 8th! Official play days will be on Tuesday for AE and Thursday for GA. Where? The Gamer's Armory in Cary, NC and Atomic Empire in Durham, NC. Games held at either location count. Just need to play your opponent and report it (there will be a form submission online for that). Why? ... because Malifaux is awesome? Seriously, we hold a lot of tournaments in the NC meta, and I know a few people have expressed hesitance to just throw down. So here's your chance to get familiar with the rules and format, with no pressure and plenty of time to plan and play! I will be posting more information as well as the schemes and strats on ThirdFloorWars.com. How? $10 and a 50ss crew! MACE, a general gaming convention in Charlotte, NC, will host a Malifaux 2 day 5 round tournament on November 11th and 12th. Each round will be fixed faction 50 ss, GG17, and last 2 hours, with 15 min additional time for set up. Strats and Schemes available the day of the tournament. It's Team Tournament time again in North Carolina! Treacherous Allies 2 will take place December 2nd, 2017 in Durham, NC at Atomic Empire Three round GG 2017 Event Format as follows: Team consists of 2-35ss crews from the same faction. Model rarity must be observed per team (ie: Lady J or Perdita may hire Judge, not both). Each player will have their own fate deck, control hand and soul stones. Players will flip for initiative, then determine turn order amongst the team mates. Models on each team's crews count as friendly to each other, but not for the purposes of companioning rules. This is always a popular tournament, so please RSVP early so I can plan terrain, space and prize support. There will be a painting contest and prizes are awarded for Best Team name, Best Team appearance and the usual tournament awards. The cost for this tournament is $25.00 per team Hope to see you with some Treacherous Allies!

For the Triangle Area (Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, Raleigh, etc) I will be organizing the Campaign for Grand Guignol. This is going to be pretty exciting with some nice prize support! Please sign up via the Facebook group, as Josh is tracking players via a spreadsheet. If you do not have Facebook, please feel free to message one of us via any other means of social media (see bottom of post for mine). Here are the rules for the league: We will be following the rules for Malifaux Campaigns laid out in Shifting Loyalties, and all page # reference that book, with a few modifications. 1. This League will cover eight weeks, and players will be limited to a max of 10 games over the course of the league.(pg. 5) 2. All crews will start 35 soulstones. (pg. 5) 3. Instead of tying the availability of masters and Avatars to a particular week, Masters will be become available for purchase after a players 3rd game, (pg. 6)and Avatars after their 5th (pg 30). 4. This will be a competitive campaign, with the score at the end used to determine the winner for each local group, and placement at the April Event. (pg. 34) 5. The league will use the Cut 'em up for parts, The Wandering Relic, and the Good Doctor optional rules. (pg. 33). The Wandering Relic will be distributed by the organizers, and each crew can only make a Trip to the Doc's twice in the campaign. 6. Each game week will have a special story scenario which will be selected from the Wyrd Chronicles, the base rule book, or pulled kicking and screaming from the depths of the organizers fetid imaginations. Each player can play each Story Scenario up to twice in the game week for which it is active, and will be rewarded with 2 scrip for playing the story scenario. 7. Game results must be reported to your local organizer in order to count. Players may post battle reports in this group, and the better the report, the greater the chance of attracting the attentions of Those Who Thirst, or earning extra script. 8. Prizes will be provided for local leagues, and the April event will have additional prizes including a custom set of tokens for their crew, a propainted crew box, and trophies. TREACHEROUS ALLIES Team Tournament December 17, 2016 Atomic Empire, Durham, NC Registration 10:30am First round 11:00am Cost $15 per team Teams consist of single faction, 70ss (35ss per player) and must be same faction. Each player will have their own fate deck and soulstone pool Each player activates their own 35ss crew, following order of initiative. Initiative is determined as usual, with the winning player determining which team member goes 1st, then that person determining which team member goes 1st and 3rd (the other person determining which team member goes 2nd and 4th). This is determined each turn. Model rarity rules follow per team (ie a rare 1 model can only be hired once per team) Crews are considered friendly to each other in all instances OTHER than chain activations (companion/accomplice) Each team member will select one scheme from scheme pool. Schemes may be completed by either team member. Any notations necessary (models targeted, etc) must be made for the scheme to count. Round 1 Interference Round 2 Collect the Bounty Round 3 Headhunter This is intended to be crazy and lots of fun. We'll have some very cool prizes and hopefully some fun team bonding!

Malifaux has been invited to participate in the local GT again, this time as a 2 day event!! Five 50 soulstone rounds over 2 days at Atomic Empire at 3400 Westgate Dr, Durham, NC 27707 Saturday, March 12th - Sunday, March 13th with first round at 9:30am. These will be 2:30 rounds; 3 on Saturday, and 2 on Sunday. Sunday start will be at 9:30am with awards at 4:00pm. *The "rules pack" is linked, but was written by the WHFB guys. We'll be playing at Parker Banner Kent and Wayne (the superhero law firm posing as a comic and game shop!) in Cornelius, NC. We'll do registration starting at 10:30am and start the first round at 11am. This will be a 50SS tournament using Gaining Grounds 2015. The rounds will be 2 hours long, with 15 minutes to set up before each game. I'll post some more information and links here in a bit!
