When: Saturday August 24th 2019 Where: Columbia, Missouri Location: Valhalla's Gate Time: 11 am to 6 pm (Registration takes place beforehand, starting around 10:30 am) What: A fun relaxed tournament where you make a themed list that is your set list for the entire day. Three rounds. Points awarded for creative, fun, whimsical, or crazier lists. Why: To have some relaxed fun before the competitive grind starts in earnest. How: 50 ss crews with the following rules adjustments - Hire a thematic crew using 50 ss. All models are considered to have the "Versatile" tag but hiring must still be within faction and/or keyword models only. This means if you have a crew led by Hinamatsu then you may hire ANY Neverborn model at cost (as you would a versatile model) and then any models with the keyword "Puppet" or "Qi and Gong". This will be a two to three round game, where players can not play the same enforcer twice in the night. Prize for best player will be awarded.

Come join us for our February League for CoMo Malifaux. This league is designed to help players prepare for the GG2018 tournaments with the idea as every week will be 1 round of a six round tournament itself, taking from the 2nd quarter season of GG2018. Schemes will be announced on Wednesday along with pairings for that week. Players will have to coordinate with each other a time to play, noting that Thursday will be most optimal. I will be running a Gaining Grounds 2018 tournament for Malifaux at Tabletop Game and Hobby in Overland Park, KS on January 27, 2018. We will start up at 10:00 AM and run until 6:00 PM. $10 entry fee which goes into the prize pool. -50ss, fixed faction -Painting is not required, but the best paint job will be rewarded -Merit awards for top rankings, and all other prizes will be raffled (There is a special raffle prize if we have at least 16 players) Expect a fun day of engaging games! It's pronounced I-gore Come Join us for another exciting tournament in Columbia Missouri. This will be a three round tournament following the rules in GG2017 on October 21. Note the Schemes/Stratigies will come from the core rules/GG2017, and as of Oct. 1 GG2018. This is to help players transition into the new gaining grounds. Cost for the tournament will be $5, with registration starting at 11 a.m. and first card flip at 11:30. Rounds will last 1:45 and we will take a break after the first for lunch. As always the tournament will be held at Valhalla's Gate (2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203). Prizes will be random draw, with an exception to a prize for best painted Construct. Come Play with us in our brand new upcoming league. This league will start September 21 and run for 6 weeks. This will be a campaign using standard campaign rules with the exception that every player will start with an extra 15 script to be spent only on a master. Additionally we will use the rules for Extra Script and no Avatars. Also each player can make a TTB character to be made into a model to be used in their group. This character will be made with the help of friendly players who feel that this is the best path for you guys. As always league nights are on Thursday (the start of league weeks) and will be playing at ValHalla's Gate (2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203). Prize for best player based upon their structure points and in the case of a tie, best player character.

The next Malifaux league will be an achievement league starting July 20. This league will go for 6 weeks with prizes for first, second and best painted trio. For the trio players will show their unpainted model the first night of the fortnight, and thus have 2 weeks to finish the model. This is a fixed faction league (some achievement require), but there are no limits to game size. Achievements will be available from the group facebook page, and a few copies on hand the first night of the league. As always league nights are Thursdays at Valhalla's Gate (2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203).

CoMo Malifaux's June League will be a growth league. The league will run for four weeks with the first night being June 8. This is a fixed faction/Master league to help players learn a new master. Each week will start on Thursday and will have a size limit associated with that week. There will be a prize for best new player, and best classic player based upon achievement points earned. The week break downs are as follows: Week Points Special Conditions 1 30 Starting crew is the same crew throughout the week, may change upgrades and chache. 2 40 Use the same models from previous week with one or two more, keep same models in every game all week. 3 50 Use the same models from previous week with one or two more, keep same models in every game all week. 4 50 Open to any model. Its time for a fight in the Pits, bring your best enforcers and battle it out. The rules are simple, we follow typical enforcer brawl guidelines for each round. The caveat is that each player must bring a faction fixed list with four different enforcers and upgrades, noting that no enforcer or upgrade can be duplicated. Each round the player will select One of their enforcers and one upgrade that can go on the enforcer and plays that round with it. After this the enforcer/upgrade can not be used for the rest of the tournament. The player with the highest total points over three rounds wins, ties go to player who used the least amount of SS. This event will be held at Valhalla's Gate (2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203) on June 17. Registration starts at 11:30 with round one starting at High Noon. A $5 entry fee is applied to help with prize support and table fees.

Who doesn't like a good story? Come join CoMo Malifux for our next league starting February 23 and lasting for six weeks. This league we be set up so that players can play up to three story encounters each week. These encounters will be announced At the start of each League Day (Thursdays) via the facebook group. Each player can only play another player once per two player match (but can have repeats for 3+) Games are to be reported to the Henchman as would be at a tournament (Points for strategy and each scheme). The winner will be determined using the GG2017 rules for a Tournament (noting players can play different total number of games). The first place player will get a story encounter box of their choosing, with a second prize going to the best painted 50 mm model. The league will cost $5 to help cover prize support, and as always league nights are Thursdays at Valhalla's Gate ( 2525 Bernadette Dr Columbia, Missouri 65203 )

Teams must designate a player A and B (pertenant to schemes). After this each team will be paired up for a one round game. Special rules for the tournament. 1) No Summoning; This is here to keep time down, don’t want a 2 summoner vs. 2 summoner game. 2) Deployment and Strategy: Flank Deployment and Guard the Stash 3) There will be one set of three schemes that both teams can pick one from (TBD) 4) Each Player A will pick from a hidden set of schemes 5) Each Player B will pick from a separate set of hidden schemes (Note that schemes scores may be based on your partner’s actions). 6) Players can not share their scheme with their partner until it is revealed. As usually we play at Valhalla’s Gate (2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203) Be there at 6:00 p.m. on February 16, 2017 to get pairing. Flips starting at 6:15 with a 1:45 game.

Rules are Fixed faction, where all models and upgrades from a round must be used in the subsequent round. The League for December for CoMo Malifaux will be an easy going league. We will do an Achievement League using the achievements from the 2015 rapid growth league along with some local flavor achievements (to be released soon). This will be a 4 week league starting December 8, where players can play games at any size. League nights are Thursday at Valhalla's Gate (2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203). The cost for league will be one of two choices: People can choose to participate in the gift raffle, or no cost as it is the season. The Gift Raffle: To participate add a box of $21 or less that you think someone would like. On December 29 we will have a drawing where people can pick there prizes (if you cant be present we will try to contact you before hand or let you pick afterwards). Prizes for most points and best painted model that was unpainted at the start of the league. Said model must have a holiday theme.

It's time for another quick tournament at Valhalla's Gate ( 2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203 ). This will be a 3 round fixed faction enforcer brawl tournament. Each player should bring a list of 5 enforcers with an upgrade, with one special note. No enforcer or upgrade can be used more than once (eg a Guild player could not bring 2 peacekeepers or have two different enforcers with A Debt to the Guild). After each round the player can not bring their entry for that round for the rest of the tournament. The tournament will start at 6:15 P.M. on October 27. Rounds will be 45 min each, with a 5 min break in between rounds to pick next entry. Rules for enforcer brawls can be found under Community - Resources in the alternative play formats. Winner will receive one small prize (either mystery box or foil card) and all players will receive one Guilder.

Come join us for a great day of Malifaux games as we host the tournament, Saddles On Fire. This will be a three round fixed faction tournament. The strategies for the rounds will be based on current strategies with an additional flair. Prize for best painted model will be given, but all other prizes will be random draw. Registration will be from 11:00 to 11:30 am followed up by pairings. Rounds will be one hour and 45 min, with a 1 hour break for lunch after the first round. Entry fee is $5 to mainly go towards prize support. This will take place at Valhalla's Gate in wonderful Columbia MO (2525 Bernadette Dr. Columbia MO 65203) on September 24.

Come join the CoMo Malifaux group for our next league starting 9/15/16 and lasting 6 weeks. This will be a campaign where each player will start with 50 SS worth of models, allowing players to start with a Master (15ss cost) The weekly events will be announced at the start of each weak (Thursday) and will last through Wednesday. The winner of the league will be based on Hide Outs, and the player with the best hide out wins. There will also be a prize for the best painted Arsenal (5 of your models) with extra consideration for a display board. A couple of extra ademdems to the league is that there players will be able to start with a master, no avatars will be available, and that there will be no master specific upgrades for emissaries. As with all CoMo games the league nights are on Thursdays at Valhalla's Gate ( 2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203)

To say goodbye to a wonderful player as he will soon em barque on his continuing journey in life (and to give a little practice in running a tournament), CoMo Malifaux group is hosting a small tournament August 25th at 6 pm. This will be a modified henchman hardcore tournament, with three 45 min rounds. For this tournament the player will assemble a partial crew of three models from one faction whose cost with upgrades totals 18. The players will then participate in a random draw of their leader. This will be from a pool of henchman (me personal henchman models) and may attach spend 2 soulstones on either upgrades or increasing the cache. The upgrades for the henchman must be legal and are based on their faction. This event will be held at Valhalla's Gate ( 2525 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, MO 65203 ) with prizes for the top player (or two if we reach 8 players).
