My first post here but I've been scrolling through for a bit. I know it's a little past the holiday season now but finally found the time to finishing this up. Thought it's be cool to make The Old Ways... Of Christmas! Also sleeved up a matching fate deck, made some scheme markers, and made some ice pillars to go with the crew. I liked the thought of the giants jumping outa boxes or shoving other people in them with Thoon and yeeting them across the table. haha I was maybe going to turn a Boltungin into Rudolph too. Any idea what to do with the Geryon when they come out? Was thinking either painting them up as a piece of fruit cake or a glob of eggnog lol.
Got out the green stuff to fix a Void Wretch, and realized that I don't have any glue at the moment, so I decided to work on Envy instead. I'm been wanting to make this modification since I opened the box and found that Envy didn't have a keyboard. If anyone has any advice, or critique they'd like to share I'm more than welcome to it, especially since this is my first try at modeling with green stuff. Below is a link to the image. I used an Exacto knife and some wood modeling tools I got from Michaels craft shop. http://imgur.com/a/xfdc7
I made a set of 6 bases over the last couple days. I wanted to see what everyone thought, and get some feedback on what models to base on them... I kinda decided to make them just because I liked the idea, but i'm uncertain of which models would work well on these that I already own. The models I'm considering for these bases: Hoffman Crew, Ramos Crew, Perdita's Gang, or Marcus (but I really don't think I want to play him). I'm also considering just selling them as I don't have any models that would work perfectly on these bases.
Hey guys! I just got my first Malifaux box order in today, and I've started prepping my minis. Unfortunately I couldn't quite figure out how to reduce the space requirements of the photos enough to upload them directly here, but on the brightside I got them posted at deviantart! So far I'm just trying to show the base-work I've done using greenstuff; and any comments or criticisms or critiques are most welcome, as this is the first time for me going all-out with any miniatures. I consider my experience limited as I'm pretty much learning as I go on a budget. Anyway- here are the URLs for the pics: http://shawn-reed.deviantart.com/#/d2yr42s and http://shawn-reed.deviantart.com/#/d2yr4gv
