What: 50ss Gaining Grounds 2016 tournament When: 25th of September 2016 Where: 't Lab, Oudegracht 207, Utrecht, Netherlands Damage: €5,- It is a regular tournament with the exception that models don't have to be painted. This to allow a new player to participate (and perhaps give the veterans a chance to try something new). Please note, during this weekend there is also a Magic: The Gathering pre-release at the store which means that it can be crowded.

First round starts at 11.30AM. $10 entry fee. Prizes : First Place: Mystery Box from Wyrd prize kit (Large Mystery box if 12+ players) Second Place: Mystery Box. Hey folks! Event Details are now live for the Malifaux Gaining Grounds at Lords of War Weekend on June 5th, 2016 in Toronto, Canada! Come check out Toronto's best weekend in Miniature Wargaming and cheat some fate. Tickets are $40 for the event. Door prizes, trophies, raffles and prize packs will be on the day. If you attended the November Lords of War Weekend you get a $5 per day discount. If you plan attend any of the Saturday events you can get a weekend pass for $70 ($60 for returning players). Giga-Bites Tabletop Gaming Cafe 1803 Roswell Road #1851, Marietta, GA 30062 will be hosting a 50 soul stone Standard Encounter Tournament on Saturday, March 26th, 2016 . The new Gaining Ground rules will be followed. The tournament will be fixed faction.The tourney will consist of 3 rounds of 2 hours a piece. Sign up will begin at 10:00, with play beginning at 11 A.M. We will also have a painting competition with prizes for the best single Mini and crew. There is a $5 entrance fee. Running March 6th through April 9th North Georgia Malifaux will be hosting a new League. Each participant will choose a Faction which they must play in all League games. League games will be standard 50 soulstone encounters, with one difference: We will be using the Gaining Grounds 2016 Strategies and Schemes throughout! During Step 5: Determine Strategy and Available Schemes, follow this alternate setup: 1. When a card is flipped to determine strategies, if it both players have already scored League points from the strategy reflip the strategy. If both players want they can also decide on a particular strategy before hand, by mutual consent. 2. After the first two cards are flipped to determine the scheme pool, if each player does not have at least THREE schemes which they have not already scored a League Point for, keep flipping cards and adding schemes to the pool until each player has three to choose from. 3. League points are scored by scoring VP in game for that scheme or strategy. You can only score a league point for each strategy or scheme once. Ranking will be determined by most League Points, with ties being broken with most total VP scored in game. 4. Prizes will be given for the top three participants. Playercan report game here. You can play as many games as you like, but can only score once for each strategy and scheme. Information I need for a game report is as follows: Players Names, Strategy played and Victory Points each player scored, schemes played and Victory Points scored for each.
