  1. Are you interested in learning to play Malifaux? Do you know how to play, but need help connecting with other players in the area (south Charlotte)? Do you like beer? 🍺 Come to Carolina Tabletop Games (CTTG) on Saturday, October 13th, between noon and 5pm, to learn to play, meet fellow players, and enjoy a cold beer on tap! Yes, CTTG is a game store and serves beer! Brilliant!! Participants will be able to enter a raffle to win a limited edition, translucent blue Rasputina crew box – “Children of December”. No purchase necessary. Liking beer is not a requirement. Buying the Henchman a beer will not improve your odds of winning... but it won't hurt your odds either... 🍻 Date: Saturday, 13 OCT 2018 Time: Noon - 5:00p Location: Carolina Tabletop Games // 315 Main St #1, Pineville, NC 28134, USA Facebook Event - RSVPs appreciated

  3. I've only completed one Malifaux model so far, I have quite a few to finish I'm hoping in time for a tournament June 20th. I'm a noob at Malifaux, but really enjoying it so far. I'm absolutely loving the new plastic kits, and the new version of the rules...rule. I played a bit in 1st Edition but the constant cross referencing didn't catch on with me (much like 40K now). Anyway, let's start with a Death Marshal. I'm also a noob with an Airbrush, but I am really happy with the way it came out. I'm concentrating on a crew based on Sonnia Criid and her fun fireballs, so I thought I'd theme everything to be red hot. I also have a Pandora box set. I did some practicing with my Airbrush on it, it's 99% airbrush. I added a touch of wash to some of the skin tones. I am actually pretty happy with this experiment, it doesn't look bad on a tabletop for 20 minutes of work. I've also been collecting Gremlins, which was my first Crew back when Malifaux first started. I played my first M2E game against them, and had to pick them up! No painted pics yet, though I've built everything. My 'To paint' looks like this: Guild: Sonnia Criid Box Set 4 Extra Witchling Stalkers Convert/Paint Witchling Handler from extra Sonnia McCabe Box Set Ortegas Box Set 5 Death Marshals Gremlins: Somer Teeth Box Set (Metal and Plastic) Ophelia Box Set (Metal) Warpigs x2 Gracie Bert Jebson Slop Hauler Piglets x3 I also ordered a War Wabbit and Nightmare Whiskey Golem.
  4. Pre-registration REQUIRED: PURCHASE here: $24.32 via EventBrite (EARLY BIRD UNTIL APRIL 7th), then ~$3 price increase Date: May 2nd, 2015 Time: 9am (Cards Flip 9:30) Format: 50ss Fixed faction Gaining Grounds 2015 Address: 500 Commercial St. Manchester, NH 03101 NOTE: Food will be catered as part of your registration fee (If you have dietary restrictions please let me know) PRE-REGISTER HERE Tournament Organizer (TO) will be myself, any questions should be asked here or day of event. NOTE: The most important thing about this event is that it requires that we sell all 32 tickets before the event in order to fund the downpayment of the venue. If we do not reach the number of players necessary, we will have the event at a different venue. With that said, this is going to be a great event where we get to socialize for a longer amount of time, and is meant to not only be a tourney but a way for all New England Malifaux players to get together. So share, share share share this event with your local area and come have a great time and meet new and old friends!!! ------------ FINAL STANDINGS, BLOG, and PHOTOS -------------- Final Standings and Blog Post Link -------------UPDATE 04/22/2015-------------- Rules Packet, stayed tuned for 1st round pairings. Some things to note: There is no painting requirement, but there is a painting competition and a raffle. If you play with fully painted crews you'll get more raffle tickets! ----++++++UPDATE 04/16/2015++++++---- Attendee list as of date in this update (will update as more come in). They must be models you used the day of the event and they must be Wyrd models. You can include more than 3 models in the painting competition just note that for painting you will be rated based on model composition as well as painting quality and color choices Proxies are allowed for models not released or hard to find. Basically this is a fun event, so if you can't get your hands on a model cause it is in metal and no longer able to find (i.e. looking at you Widow Weaver) and you have a proxy that is representative it is ok. Also if it is a model that has not yet been released obviously an acceptable representative proxy is allowed too. However, you MUST show it to the TO before the event.
