The Dragon’s Hoard, located in beautiful Hackettstown, NJ, is proud to sponsor its 1st Malifaux 3rd Edition Tournament of the ReRoaring ‘20s “Put your ‘Faux where your game is! ”, which will be held: Sunday, the 23rd of February 2020. We will begin signups at 10:30am, with games starting at 11am, sharp. The tournament will have a $10 entry fee. The tournament will be 3, 2 hr and 15 min rounds. Single Faction, using GG0, Strategy and Schemes, with pools announced at the beginning of each round. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places, as well as a raffle for those which did not place. 5 tickets will be given to those players that sign up before February 15th. Coming up for March and April we have a 2 tournament series at The Only Game in Town 211 W Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876 and Maplewood Hobby 1970 Springfield Ave, Maplewood, NJ 07040. On 3/19/16 at Maplewood Hobby 1970 Springfield Ave, Maplewood, NJ we will have a 50ss tourney using the Classic schemes and strategies. Registration at 10am, cards flip at 11am. On 4/23/16 at The Only Game in Town 211 W Main St, Somerville, NJ 08876 we will have a 50ss tourney using the new schemes in the 2016 gaining ground packet. Registration at 10am, cards flip at 11am. $10 entry for each tournament. Malifaux product will be 10% off to tournament participants at each tourney. Both tourneys will have prize support in store credit for 1rst, 2nd, and 3rd place. in addition to the individual store tournament prizes, the person who accrues the most victory points across both tournaments combined will receive a Dark Carnival crew box. Players will register their LGS or Local Gamestore as well when coming to tournaments. The store with the most victory points will receive a trophy to display (can be any store or gaming group, not just Maplewood or TOGIT)... definitely hope to see Nu Brand and the Basement Jacks in attendance.

We will be running a Shifting Loyalties campaign at The Only Game in Town in Somerville, NJ from 1/19-2/23. Leading up to the event we will be having demo days every Tuesday so it is the perfect time to get into Malifaux! I am also available to make it into the store on Wednesdays for any Mordhiem players who are looking to try something new. $10 entry Week 1: A lucrative offer- 35 points (no master) week 2: vermin infestation- 35 points (no master) week 3: the lonely traveler- 35 points (no master) week 4: contract work- can take masters week 5: a sinners prayer- 50 points week 6: wandering mercenaries- 50 points Limited to 2 games per week, 12 scrip max. Big announcement! We are going to be doing a large competitive league that will finish in a championship tournament from 9/14/15-11/28/15. Players will be split into conferences based on the local gamestore/ gaming group and will be scheduled for approximately 2 games a month within their own conference. Conference champions will come to Maplewood Hobby on 11/28/15 to compete in a tournament to determine the winner of the league. Single faction for both the league and tourney. Suggested conferences at the moment are: -Maplewood Hobby -The Only Game in Town -Arcana Toys, Games, and Hobbies -Basement Jacks/ Toywiz -South Jersey/ Enter the Realm (Philly) -Nubrand/ Brooklyn Conferences need to be a minimum of 4 players, maximum of 12. Based on Participation, conferences may be added or combined. We have totally lucked out with sponsorship and prize support. Bring one enforcer 9 soulstones or less including any upgrades that the enforcer could legally take in a game. No summoning. 4 card hands. So Dexcon is a large convention in NJ for RPGs, LARPs, Boardgames, etc. They are trying to build up their wargaming community and I was approved to run Malifaux Demos on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. In addition we will have 2 small fun events on Saturday for more experienced Malifaux players. It looks like a big convention with plenty to do, and 1 price gets you into almost everything! The first event will take place late afternoon, and will be an enforcer brawl. Each player gets 10 points to spend on a single enforcer, upgrades, and soulstones (no killjoy!). 3-8 players will then enter their enforcer in the arena for a free for all battle. 4 card hand, enforcers can use soulstones, and you get 1 point for each model killed, 2 points for being the last model standing. We will run as many rounds as possible in a 2 hour timeframe. The second event will take place at night, and will be a 4-8 person 2 round Hardcore tournament with only 2 tables. What that means is if we get 4 or less players we will have hardcore singles, if we have 5 or more then we will have hardcore teams. 20 soulstone, henchman led crews, 4 model maximum, No Painting requirement. feel free to message me any questions!

We still have a lot of terrain wit only a primer coat on it, and we are looking to rectify that! We will be having a hobby day on Friday June 27th from about 3pm-7pm to get it all painted up. Terrain and terrain materials will be provided, feel free to bring some brushes, paint, and plastic safe primer would definitely be appreciated! Hey everyone! I have been playing Warmachine for a little over 2 years now, have a regular play night and make it out to cons and tourneys. I saw the Malifaux models, and was really attracted to the small model count, the cool models, what looks like a lot of terrain, and what looks like a pretty low cost of entry. I live around Clinton, NJ 08801... I work out in Perth Amboy, NJ. I usually go to The Only Game in Town for gaming but there really isnt a Malifaux community there. Does anyone know of any local NJ or PA groups? Are there regular tourneys or conventions? Right now I'm leaning towards the guild. I like the look of all of the models in the box set with lady justice, and like the combined arms approach. I also like the way the hired guns looks, but I don't think I want a melee force. I would also want to pick up a second starter box so other people could learn along with me. Are there any good matchups for the guild set? (leaning towards more of the horror sets... like the red chapel or no shelter here. My gf likes the horror side of things, along with female main characters). Any tips for getting started? reviews/ tip sites that I should check out?

Andrew (Guy in a suit) and I are teaming up to run a month long painting contest between our two fair states to not only get our locals painting, but also to foster a friendly rivalry between NJ and NY . We will both be running painting contests within our stores through the month of May. The individual winners within each location will then be posted online and YOU THE PEOPLE will vote between entrants from each of our fair states to determine which side of the Hudson is the victor! (Which we all know will be NJ) The three categories are: Single Mini - 30mm Single Avatar or Large Base - 40mm+ Malifaux Crew Box (If no official Crew Box exists for what you want to paint, just submit a legal 30SS+ list of at least 5 models) There will be a prize for each category winner, and the overall 'State' winner will receive a custom prize they can display in their store to let us all know of their awesomeness or as Andrew put it Uber-ness. All entries must be submitted by 5/31.
