so I just picked up https://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/dragyri-clear-resin-greater-storm-elemental-1.html to proxy for the poltergeist. Before putting it together, I figured I would query to see if anyone has any experience with clear resin. I really only have two multi-part questions. First, What should I use to glue this thing together, plastic cement or zap-a-gap? The plastic cement would be nice so I wouldn't have to pin as much and preserve the clear effect. But if I do have to pin, are there any clear materials I can use, or maybe a colored, fine gauge jewelry wire? Second, paining. I want to preserve the clear effect but want to give it some color and definition. I obviously cannot prime this and I worry that the paint won't adhere to the resin. I can probably use a thin wash to highlight the low areas. I want to also highlight the upper ares with an interference paint. Anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to do this effectively? It was suggested elsewhere that I dullcote the model first to give a paintable surface. I will definitely be posting pictures as I go. p.s. - I also have this thread going on the same topic. There is some good stuff there. http://www.coolminiornot.com/forums/showthread.php?54921-painting-on-clear-resin
