Thank you for all that information! I'll take a look at the crews and grab one I think I'll like and try out some of my brother's crews in the meantime! Really liking Cooper and Hamelin from a visual standpoint. With some others trailing a bit behind them.

Hello everyone! My brother has just recently introduced me to Malifaux with a small demo game and I really dig it. Had a read through the rules and think I have a decent grasp of things (though I'm sure that will be proven wrong). Anyway, the only real experience I have with tabletop games is Warhammer Fantasy before it became Age of Sigmar. I really loved the feel of my Dwarven gunline with some supporting troops to stop from being overrun. It's hard for me to tell, but it looks like that playstyle is a bit harder to come by in Malifaux. In general I enjoy mid to long range combat, accuracy, and strong damage. I also realize this is a game about objectives and not necessarily killing so I don't want to hamper myself in that regard either. Also looking for a crew that is fairly competitive as I'd like to work towards going to tournaments eventually (even if that means learning another crew or two). My brother pointed out Lord Cooper to me. Is his crew fairly viable? How do they operate? Any others I should consider? Any guidance is much appreciated.
